Hmm... don't think can do dat la. Usually people just set all downloads on simultaneously and manage which torrent is capped to what speed. Also got priority option under files tab if you want to see but it's for individual files rather than the torrent itself hmm.gif .

Hello folks,

I would to know how long utorrent takes to download a big files such as movie (>1GB) to completed? Yesterday before this writting, I started to download a movie about 1.24GB but until today only manage to complete about 35% with down speed fluctuate from as high as 25kB/s to the lowest 2kB/s. I am still patience until coz this my favourite movie.

What makes the down speed keeps fluctuate? Is that something to with my preferences setting or incorrect port forward? May I know how to check my port forward value? I tried the tutorial in the port forward website but still blur...

Any idea how to boost my download?....and also may I know where I can straight full version of movies without using torrent?

Help is appreciated. TQ

This is normal TM.Nut throttled p2p protocol especially BT to overcome this have to put out some money to subscribe 3rd party services Like Torrentflux / WEBui / VPN services . :-)

the good step:
find in rapidshare/MU first,
if can't find, then u need to find torrent with good seed (private tracker whistling.gif)

My previous torrenting all can hit 190kB/s easily. Current windows/torrent settings wouldn't allow me to exceed 50kB/s.

So, I downloaded the Vista TCP/IP Limit remover and it changed the HalfOpen to 70,000. I get added download speed but after restart, can't get into windows. Have to use back original tcpip.sys file.

Tweaked in Registry but it doesn't help.

Any idea how to tweak that file without causing any trouble to windows?

70000 is really high.. 100-200 is enough

Yup. Now I am trying out 200~500 setting but the registry tweak doesn't seem to affect the download speed.

Too bad my operating system can't recognize the tweaked tcpip.sys once I restart the PC..

Maybe I need another operating system for faster speed?
My current OS is Vista Ultimate..

A general rule I use is right clicking the file on uTorrent and set the Bandwidth Allocations to High.
