Damn I love utorrent, I especially like the RSS feed feature, I left the computer on while I was on vacation, then all the shows were downloaded automatically and waiting for me when I came back biggrin.gif

As far as I know there's nothing wrong with having ur upload speed lower than ur dl speed, but you can adjust the maximum upload speed in the Preferences

µTorrent 1.9 Alpha Build 13520

Test features' details:-

Was about to reply to the other thread that asks for settings but I figured it'd be a bit more proper to respond here. Here are the thumbs, step by step from L-R and pay attention to the details you're familiar or are having trouble with. Sorry I didn't know of any other better way to arrange these to save space. It's a new alpha maybe going to beta phase. Mr.TS might wanna rework the thread's subtitle.

I run this on my Win XP Pro SP3 comp. tcpip.sys patched and paired with Peerguardian 2 and cfosspeed. As pictured, I left Preferences > Advanced, set bt.transp_disposition to: 255 - both TCP and uTP (default), which pretty much means it's by default.

@AskarPerang
Screenie of which one (settings)? We'll need more specifics.

Btw this is a caution to those looking to test out the alpha build. You wouldn't wanna fall back on the build for proper runs other than just minutes to post the logs back or report other findings to µT's forums. This is because currently it'll generate a rather suspect and a whopper 88MBs for utp.log alone for anything that exceeds a 1 hour run. Plus if you fiddle to look at the logs while the client is running be prepared to crash it.

Hi, im new to tis topic, yet to read the whole thread. But i juz wanna share my speed experince.

Im from Ipoh, located near Pasir Puteh exchange and about 4KM away. Only gettin about 20 ~ 40. I heard Perak have the worst streamyx connection from a friend. ( tis is due to lots of his gamer frens are gettin bad rep once they are known to be Perakian ) BTW, im using the basic RM66 no modem package. Thou router record 1.5mb download, 1mb upload connection, im only getting about 20% in torrent. While some direct download using IE or DAP may reach maximun of 60kbps.

Anyhow, i juz base in Penang for a month. So far most speed i can achieve about 60 ~120. And im "borrowing" my neighbour wifi line ( yea, he didnt protect his wifi at all ).

And yesterday, i went to a customer site whom using a dedicated 2mb lease line, i got max 230 in torrent.

Juz wondering is it true Perak hv sucky streamyx connection? And, wow, dedicated lease line sure rock.

Erm I heard from the original Utorrent 1.9 thread that the new build 13910 no longer collects logs? Is it true?

What build are you using? Is it the latest build 13910? I've used the previous build and the latest build and I didn't find any log files on my desktop even though i set my download location to my desktop.

Anybody have any idea where the logs went if it isn't in the desktop?

Are there even logs generated in the latest build?
