Please do a factory reset, most probably that will solve the problem.

I have no WiFi and charging issue at all.

Same thing here. No problem what so every since S117.

Here got 5pcs K3N [my friends and myself] running with s117 no charging and wifi issue also. Only battery a bit heavy when running 4G [maybe 4G coverage weak].
Maybe we are the lucky one tongue.gif

hi all
to those having problem with wifi, i've found a solution. all info and wording below is copied fr lenovo forum.
all credits goes to them...
I just find a permanent solution for the wifi problem happened after 296MB OTA update to lenovo K3 Note.
To solve it. Just follow these steps:-
Go to engineering mode my dialing:- *#*#3646633#*#*
Now go to connectivity tab and tap on WiFi.
Now mark the option.
1.) WFA test UI
2.) WPS test mode
Now exit from engineering mode and check. Wifi will work smoothly.!

Can I switch the resolution of this phone from 1080p to 720p?
*
Yup, u can change to screen DPI but it might cause error on some apps and cause the Google Play Store to incorrectly label your device as incompatible when downloading apps.
Why u wanna change it since it is 1080p?

720p can reduce battery usage
720p also can play game more smoothly

I agree 720p battery is better but for gaming i didnt feel any lag on 1080p on K3N.

Kinda of puzzle me that why tune down a 1080p to 720p for extend battery life purpose?
Since K3 note had replacement battery and also powerbank are dirt cheap now. Might as well buy replacement battery instead of change to 720p and spoiled the user experience.

or just get a 720p lenovo phone like A7000.

Since it's basically a sibling to A7000, I'm wondering if the battery they are using the same? Should be easy to get that locally.. Too bad that it'll be hard to find high capacity battery for Lenovo like those that Zerolemon makes
