I'm wondering how safe is FSM if I were to put in, let say RM10M? Not that I have 10M, but should I put my eggs in several baskets instead of just FSM?

Is it possible to perform conditional sale of UT ? That's selling the UT if the selling price goes above a value determined by the seller ?

for me, coz too poor to invest in several stocks & countries' stocks effectively

well tat also reason why we invest in UT

may i suggest that you refer fund fact sheet of each of these fund....
the fund fact sheets "most probably" has the country allocation chart showing the % allocated for each countries....
in case of single country focused fund...it will not show the % per each country.

Plot the % down onto an excel file....
then see where is the countries and % allocated for each fund...add them all up to see the total of % and countries allocated for your portfolio.
Separate them into Equity and Bond funds....

(it seems that your portfolio are mostly focused in M'sia...)
(If M'sia were to kena hit (like rating downgrade) ALL in your portfolio also kena....)

i didn't go into details

For me, i look for funds that consistently give > 7% every year (not average over 5 years or so, but every year positive)

so i pull the data from FSM, recalculate the numbers to give me what i need

and select funds based on that criteria

based on 5 yrs...that time US is having QE...every where also make monies...
now with QE stopped, interest rate will be rising, M'sia Oil price dropped, RM currencies dropped..

just a thought...

er.. need $xxK USD per shot to be cost effective leh (as cost/value % or EOQ)...
