Hi guys, what is LTE Voice? Is it like VoLTE from other country? I saw there's the "LTE Voice" thing on Celcom plans.

How do I enable it?

But of course, what did I expect from Celcom. No Internet data while I was shopping in Sogo today. Sure it was crowded and MAYBE it's due to the volume of users, but really, it was either no connection at all or EDGE. I only got a connection when I was inside Uniqlo's changing room

I encounter this very strange issue

ported from Maxis to Celcom recently, pop in the sim card into HTC Desire Eye, the browsing on the phone was terribly slow and have to reload 3 times to get it loaded properly. Whatsapp and chatting apps are fine, CoC also load slower.

however when I use the phone as a wifi hotspot, and my laptop connected to it, the page can load reasonably well, despite it is a 3.5G connection.

never encountered this problem when was with Maxis before

Siapa yang tak suka Celcom tuh boleh port out! Senang saja! When more and more users port out! Celcom line would be faster!

How true is this? Have you personally tested with two phones? One is Basic 38, the other XPAX.
I have this hunch that Celcom has intentionally crippled the Basic 38's connection because it is not profitable to give these users full access to its network and they might think they have compensated by giving these users 3GB of Wifi.

One of my family member actually subscribes to one of the Elite postpaid plan on Celcom and he has very good to superb connection throughout Malaysia, even in KL while my Basic 38 is barely useable at times.
I haven't extensively tested this but I should. But if is true, Celcom can't do this to its customers without openly saying anything even in its T&C. It'll be considered outright deception if true.

Hey r u using Celcom First 38? I heard that Celcom has good coverage and somemore it is 4GLTE connection. How come no internet data?
I want to subscribe First 38, the price so cheap. I need to consider again after see your comment.

yep celcom basic 38. i duno man, i baffles me too. imo, celcom has the widest coverage for calls and sms only. for data, can't beat maxis. maxis is far more reliable
