Been a user of 32L tank for 12 years. Sufficient for 2 person to bath one after another. But it won't be hot enough for the next day. And sometimes, we reach home late and don't want to have to wait to shower. Especially for my elderly mum if she goes out with us till late. So, it can be beneficial to others, if not to you.
*
Agree. It will not hold heat enough on next day even overhingt especially when raining season. My tank is on ceiling. However, I found it will take less than 5 minutes to get to shower temp. Even with no hot water, it is still like having instant even though mine is 35L (I think). The heater is still 3kW like the instant one.

I see, both my curtain rails extend right up to the edge of the wall, so if I were to fix need to cut/shorten?

The easiest way to smart control your blind is to use product like this. I believe there are many on online shop from China. I've seen curtain shop that use this type. Just need to fix on the wall and use battery. It can last very long depending on how often you open and close your curtain like 20 times a day laugh.gif

Ya im using a tank type water heater, as through my experience for so many years using 1, it usually takes like 15 mins to heat up, i usually shower very hot water LOL! But i dunno maybe because the tank im using is like 10 yrs old? As now im moving to a new place, will be buying  new ones. So guess ill just install a normal 20A switch then. I was thinking maybe i can turn it on before reaching home so i dont need to wait to shower. As for air conditioner, just use the broadlink RM 4 to turn on right? Not necessary to change the 20A switch for air conditioner?
*
Yes, you probably need 70C waer while I just need around 50C laugh.gif

I've been using more than 10 years and the heater already spoiled once, causing power trip. This can happened once the heater copper corroded and leak water inside heating element.

The shop say people normally changed new one but no I see no point since the tank still look fine with no corrotion sitting on top of ceiling. The new heater cost around RM90. Need to get someone familiar with the job since the normal spanner is not wide enough the mouth opening. Big spanner is too bulky to get into position. biggrin.gif

Now I think no problem to get 20A, unlike before. I just googled one. This might be to your interest:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33032606776...earchweb201603_

Normal 1A air-cond can be operated with normal 13A socket. No need 20A.

Maybe Covid? I don;t buy from Ali long time already but no problem last time. Only that they are usually the more expensive. I'd say the seller most likely many same seller on Shoppe or Lazada if shipping from China laugh.gif

Now even my big package from Sungai Petani to Penang also already 1 week. PosLaju dispatched our from SP a week ago and still not arrive in Penang. Probably the PosLaju van inside longkang somewhere and no one notice

Bruh, yellow from 20A is NOT neutral. Get a black wire preferably and connect from the black neutral 20A to the Aqara neutral. (aiks sorry to confuse about the color. That yellow (between 20A - Aqara is already connected between 20A black wire hole (N) to Aqara N hole)

Live can be either the black from three gang or the yellow from 20A. (tested with the black from 3 gans ..trip. I haven't try Live from 20A yet. Maybe i should use the Live from 20A and also the N from 20A connect to Aqara ?)
*
If you mix color like that, even the electrician can get confused. The wire color there is not for decoration biggrin.gif

Guys, won't borrowing the neutral fr the 20a switch for a wifi with neutral lights+fan switch be too heavy a load for the light switch?
*
You tap the N before the switch, not after the switch. Otherwise if the switch is off, anything that ride on the N cannot work .... right?

So, switch will not bear the load. smile.gif

Ok, neutral goes to the the non neutral switch first then to the 20a?
*
You got me confused here. First you said:

won't borrowing the neutral fr the 20a switch for a wifi with neutral lights+fan switch be too heavy a load for the light switch?

then you said:

Ok, neutral goes to the the non neutral switch first then to the 20a?

I thought you talk about WiFi switch with Neutral, the reason you want to tap N from20A switch. Where the non-neutral come from? rclxub.gif

Maybe I misunderstood blink.gif

Wow... no idea that expensive. Travel cost how much now? RM60 or RM100? The rest is just workmanship cost. I bet yours can be done in less than an hour, 30~40 min?

May I know which one you bought? I wish there was a standard design for smart switches even if its from one company, now I am looking at regular switches from terncy or aqara and the 20A I am unsure, all look different from one another.

Ya wish there was, can see the diference in quality in some, for the 20a I got from these..

If youre shopping for the 20a switches, pls take note some of them only go up to 10a but they look the same, at least in the pictures. And theyre a little cheaper from what I see.

Not sure about other courier but with announcement from PosLaju on suspension of international package service, it would be good idea to buy from local. I found this:

https://shopee.com.my/Stock-Clearance!N...9878.5743249297

Not sure if this is truly Sonoff. biggrin.gif

TBH, how important for you remote control your appliances in your house say when you are away from home.

The only thing that you need to access remotely is your CCTV wink.gif You can see someone break in but you cannot rush home since you are overseas laugh.gif

But then if lost connection that switch no longer work.
So sonoff mini is the only way to achieve 2 way?
Any alternative, to achieve it by using two actual smart switch?

meaning normal led downlight is not dimmable? those ciplak 1 from cimalighting.
*
It is the driver that determine if the LED is dimmable or not. You can just replace current driver with compatible dimmable one or you can buy a high power driver that can drive probably 3 or 4 downlight at the same time if you prefer

nowadays those philips downlight with built in driver. meaning the driver is attach inside the light as well. so that how to tell that philips downlight is dimmable? not expensive though. RM23 each.
*
If built in driver, the box will note there id the downlight is dimmable or not.

If you can open the light, you can modified the non-dimmable to become dimmable, i.e. if you know how to modified laugh.gif

Interestingly, here is this guy make non-dimmable to become dimmable using normal traditional dimmer
