That's a bit technical to me but I think I get where you're coming from. Thanks!

Sorry. I would say that zigbee only talk once in a while. Like yes, no maybe..... short answer. It is not like download or streaming movie on your phone. So, you won't notice zigbee is also running on 2.4GHz like idoblu said.

I see i see. My interpretation on your reply is though both (wifi & zigbee) runs on the same 2.4Ghz band, zigbee only talk (or sends signal) once in awhile (during automation) which hardly will affect the wifi or rather not noticeable.

idoblu has a good case study there with 48 zigbee devices and hardly notice the interference thumbup.gif

What are your concerns on the reliability? Sonoff wall switches works like normal wall switches even when internet is down.
Xiaomi got versions which don't need neutral wire. Of course, Sonoff and Xiaomi switches can mix.

At this moment, you can do that provided you are using Home Assistant with your Xiaomi gateway and Sonoff switches.
Few members are planning to do that including robert82 and kelembai.
Not sure what is their progress but I am sure it can work.

Just flash Sonoff only. Xiaomi work as per normal.
They are not Android phones. Not easy to brick them. biggrin.gif

Wireless wall switch can stick to the wall like hotel rooms
The other two button switches can put on bedside table so it’s just a matter of round or square shape.

Just make sure you buy the latest version to get more functions out of it.

Bro idoblu. Since u have a mixture of xiaomi and sonofff switches.. may i know how you deal with those 20amps switches (for aircond ovens etc) ? I don really need smart control on those switches but will like something that can blend in well with those glass panel smart switches as they are just next to each other
