I've figured out the problem. Sonoff doesnt support automatically turning off a switch whenever it is turn on by any means. the loop timer is not smart, it just creates a loop and that's it. I guess i need a home assistant to do the automatically turn off after certain minutes whenever a switch is turn on.

thumbsup.gif Good troubleshooting.

I guess need external trigger too like:

1) Light Detector with timer
2) Current Detector with timer

Probably. Play once with Loop timer but setting it up as on and off loop to a light as a sort of light alarm.

You can use apps to trigger power on or any external trigger but use something simple like delay timer to turn off after 20 min. Something like this. It is cheap anyway. Check if this will work:

will there be any drawback to do this? it doesnt have to be the same Neutral from the lights? Well effectively the Neutral is still the same at the DB.

If wiring on single phase, should be no problem. If 3 phase house wiring, it may or may not work.
