160 for the tuya ceiling version, not fp2
Works fine if you don’t have fans in the room
No multizone like fp2

Still sceptical to get one since even fans as interference may or may not detect presence properly

I have been using the fp2 for almost 2 weeks, this mmWave occupancy sensor is amazing!

It is multi zone’s detection, can act like multiple motion sensors
It is damn sensitive and accurate to few cm, even you are sleeping and it can sense your respiratory movements
It has very fast response times, once you are entering or leaving the designated zone, it triggers in less than a second
You can configure interference zones for fan, curtains to avoid unintended triggers
It works well in HomeKit, so it can work flawlessly with home assistant

The drawback is it requires usb power, hence, not convenient to place at the best spot

Currently the device available in China and can only pair to China region, and the connection to China is damn slow, the setup of zones requires real time connections to China servers, hence, it is not easy to setup. However, detection is locally run and does not require connection to China servers

If your couch or bed right below fan can still detect presence? Since it's right within interference area

You can position the sensor downwards to your couch or bed, the sensor has not-so-wide cover area

Interference zones cannot overlap with detection zones, thus, placement is very crucial to get accurate and sensitive detection, I spent two days to find the best spot

I'm curious about the IKEA smart home system. IKEA has its Smart Home app as well.

However, it appears that IKEA Malaysia does not sell the TRÅDFRI gateway or DIRIGERA hub which is the latter is Matter-compatible. They were only available on the IKEA Singapore website.

Worse, TRÅDFRI drivers are usually in short supply!

Ikea msia quit selling tradfri smart devices for a few years here while our neighbours get the latest stuff. I think it was just end of last year they resume selling some tradfri and sympfonisk accessories. Got them both so I can use as zigbee remote with HA

Actually how wide does it cover the rooms?
Seems like quite large space from the reviews
No ghosting issue so far

120 degree horizontal, actual test is around 100 degree, it will be much less sensitive over 100 degree

Even ac will cause interference. Unless u stay in western countries where it is always cold and no need on anything, then OK le

It uses AI learning, my standing fan just 3 meter away from fp2 sensor, no interference at all.

I watch this Singaporean YouTuber, I find smart thing is better than Aqara. But however, for Apple user like me who wants HomeKit integration… Aqara is more straightforward.

As long need tinkering with homebridge… which I’m still having issue trying to get tuya to run locally 😅. The rest that I integrated such as Panasonic, LG, Kasa, Mi Home etc is working well with local control.

Next gonna try RM4 Pro to control my fans via radio. Hopefully 1 per floor is sufficient haha. No need buy so many.

I see... I thought samsung doesn't have full range of smart device. Mostly appliances only

The SmartThings hub can connect to many other brands, not just limited to SmartThings.

Updated my Apple Home to "new architecture" and ended up all my automation stopped sweat.gif .

Rebooted everything and it worked fine... btw now that I'm curious... if I want a more advance automation... I can do HA, but still use HomeKit for interface when want to turn on manually?

My set-up now is...

Aqara, LifeSmart --> HomeKit
Kasa, Panasonic, Mi Home --> HomeBridge --> HomeKit

So if I were to do the HA..

Aqara, LifeSmart, Kasa, Panasonic, Mi Home --> HA --> HomeBridge --> HomeKit?

With HA, can skip homebridge
HA will expose all those device entities to homekit

With HomeAssistant, u no longer need Homebridge. You can control everything from HA. I installed it before, but was too over my head for the tweaking of each setting. I think im getting old, so homebridge to just route the items into Homekit is easier for me. Besides, home minister will prefer homekit, and not HA.

But if you do have the time, HA opens up a whole world of monitoring, automation and etc. Not to mention things like NodeRed.
