Hi guys, what's the cheapest 2 button wall switch that's compatible with smartthing? The cheapest I found is Aqara ZigBee which is about 99RMB.

Planned to use it to control indoor ceiling lights.

I use broadlink TC2 and Broadlink RM Pro IR/RF hub, broadlink can be managed by smartthing through broadlink android bridge apps

ZigBee provide feedback to smartthings hub which is better than Broadlink which is only 1 way. you need other sensor like temperature, present, switches to feedback that environment status.

Sonoff T1/Touch & S20 don't utilize zigbee, but they do use wifi.
With custom firmware made by users at ST forum you should be able to use it with smartthings
You can get them cheaper at taobao or from their website (itead).

If you're worried about having to open up the device for flashing, you can use this recently OTA method to flash firmware

Wait, are they able to send feedback saying that the light is ON or OFF too?
As I aware, only zigbee do have this functionality, no?
The reason I scrap Broadlink due to one way communication only. I need a device able to send feedback and show in the apps.

sonoff Touch requires neutral line, check your wall socket whether or not the neutral line is there before you buy

its based on the individual what they like about, bcoz as i know all the brands are same only. The prices also almost same may be a bit expensive due to their technology like tht, as long as got smtg to use means thn its fine ....
If me myself means i love the samsungz and hitachii brand so its depends on urself most of the time.

now alexa has support for vera, so can just link up the account, like how i link alexa with logitech harmony

ya , currently my alexa usage mostly , set timer, set alarm, ask time, play nursery songs, turn on and off devices, and finally can control temperature of air con with the vera support in alexa

Can you add vero control to any devices?
Can you share how you setup with your aircon for example?
