Thanks a lot, much cheaper than Aqara which cost RM200+ for each switch. Probably aqara intergration with homekit is better.

If I have multiple products from different companies that support Zigbee, can I simply connect them all to an Aqara hub and manage them through the Aqara app? Or do I need to download multiple apps like Tuya, Xiaomi mainland, Apple HomeKit, and Aqara to manage them separately?

I'm still undecided on the brand for the robot vacuum.

I opted for a smart switch that combines control for both the light and fan. I noticed that Tuya LED downlights are priced at RM 19. Interestingly, my dad purchased LED downlights from another brand at the same price of RM 19.

Initially, I considered purchasing Aqara products, particularly the Aqara Smart S1e. However, I'm concerned that it might only be compatible with Aqara devices, which would limit its usefulness.

but i wont recommend this, aircon unit is considered high power electric device. if ur plug unable to deliver sufficient power, u might risk burning ur aircon.

also most of the socket hv different 3 pins.

just one of the switch decided to die few days before I moved in. reported to moes and they sent me a replacement, also 8 months in and still working

Thanks for the helpful comments everyone. After reading so many I decided to go with Moes zigbee switches and dimmers as their switches seem the most tactile feeling and isn't too expensive. I also just ordered some ceiling mounted 24G human presence sensors.

But actually for the gateway I went to Taobao and found a 10-inch wall-mounted screen that fits into our wall boxes with built-in wired hub. Since I'm doing a whole house reno I'm able to wire POE to anywhere.

Now just waiting for the hub to arrive, then see if this all works well. For the end product I actually plan to integrate everything to Home Assistant hosted on a machine in my house that serves as:
1. Home Assistant server
2. Blue Iris NVR
3. NAS storage

Hence, I also ordered a Reolink POE doorbell to test to see their Home Assistant integration before deciding to buy their cameras for CCTV. Because I see Reolink as one of the only brands in Malaysia that has official Home Assistant + FTP documentation. Hope that once the zigbee touchsreen hub arrives it will work with ZHA integration. Wish me luck.

I've been trying to find zigbee windows/door sensors that doesn't use batteries but no luck so far :/ Cause don't want to deal with the headache to constantly check batteries. Would like something that is wired to the wall.

Trying to achieve a cloudless smart home setup, while keeping security systems on POE or powered with wire from wall. Not really looking to control any of my devices remotely, just want an ecosystem smart enough to switch things on and off on it's own.
