Seems like 4 gang zigbee wall switches only available for neutral only. Definitely need a spacer for that relay. My 4 gang switch is already so jam packed with wires with all the looping. Didnt want to get wifi ones since i wanted it to do local with local. Seems like i shall have to wait awhile more if i want a zigbee switch.

Yesterday back home (no one at home) all of sudden the U100 like going "offline" but the Smart lock still have function there with keypad still light up, fingerprint sensor still can sense.

Tried using fingerprint, passcode, Apple HomeKey - FAILS and unable to unlock the door:
i) Fingerprint and passcode seems to be registered but the latch just doesn't move
ii) Apple HomeKey doesnt even activate at all (no animation)

Luckily i attach the physical key with me all time and that's the only solution to unlock  =.=
In the end i have to remove battery and reinsert back to solve it
[At this time the battery shows 93% - 40 days usage]

Additional info:
Aqara App shows : Device (Aqara U100) offline on 9.00 a.m. (the message doesn't log after i settle so forgot to screenshot)
Apple HomeKit shows : No response

However, my Aqara E1 Hub still showing online in Aqara App and no issue
Apple Homekit app others devices also working fine except U100
Internet at home working properly and Apple TV 4K also can turn on and off remotely

Anyone using sonoff dongle as coordinator? Say if I had every zigbee device setup with THE dongle coordinator through HA, can the coordinator run on its own with only power source attached to it without HA from my SBC/PC?

Meaning as coordinator, the dongle won't work at all without raspberry pi and the likes, right? Don't want to use it as router/repeater though.

Hi, I first time posting here and a newbies at "Smart" home

I'm using ewelink system (Sonoff bridge pro), but seems like there is a limitation to what it can do, I mean ewelink (or Sonoff, I think same company). It's has limited products and don't have some items like door lock, 2 gang switch (no neutral, no capacitor version), and limited types of CCTV.

Now I'm looking into Tuya.
For Sonoff it's easy, just get the Bridge pro and the ZigBee /WiFi sensors, can start already, there are many YouTube videos regarding it.
But for Tuya, I headache cos too much information everywhere, and the Website is more to corporate level.

I want to a new system is my home using Tuya. Not sure if Tuya is a brand, or the system or compatibility logo.

Basically I want to set up a few door open close sensors, wooden door lock CCTV, 2 gang switch (no neutral, no capacitor type) for lights and fans.

Please help and thank you in advance.

Is it the ZigBee feature all need to use same Zemismart brand?
Seems a bit on the expensive side

I see Moes more cheaper but review not so good for the switch and sensors

Something like ewelink all need to use Sonoff. Or tuya hub all need to use tuya sensors

nice door, this is highest security door with top and bottom lock.

unfortunately, ur door using customised mortise lock.
so far i didnt see any smart lock for this kind of lock

i did saw few video at xiaohongshu with this lock type.
to install smart lock, they hv to seal the top and bottom lock.

beware before u upgrade, make sure u buy the same measurements of ur mortise lockset to avoid drill bigger hole.
good thing is ur door thickness should be ok.

u got 2 choices for smart lock.
1. Easy: change the Euro Cylinder to smart. No need touch ur lockset.
2. Hard: change the mortise lockset + smart door panel.

for (2), just go to Aliexpress look for any Tuya lock.
they hv almost all measurements for mortise lock

Few questions for you Home Assistant users

1) Anyone managed to connect your Daikin Aircond with HA?
2) Recommend a ZigBee router for use with Z2M pls.

For Num 1 for MY ones you cant use the Daikin integration, you can use an IR blaster, and also if i am not mistaken you can also use Daikin to Google Home/Alexa in the Daikin Go app and then that to HA, i remember someone telling me they were using Google SDK to get it into HA.

Need to run local timer like the one in tasmota independent of hub or cloud. MQTT just to status monitoring.

I wonder has anyone tried adding 2 PIR sensors to 1 WiFi light?

If PIR sensor detect movement it will ON, if no detect it will OFF

So if 1 PIR is ON, the other remains off is easy.

But if 1 both sensors is ON,  1 is still detecting movement and remains ON, but the other sensor after 1 minute is OFF, will the light remain ON or OFF? I want it to remain ON.

Or is it need to do some conditioning.
Example if sensor is still detecting movement, sensor 2 will not off the light. Wow..this is getting complicated for me. I'm just using the simple ewelink app, I don't think can do that.

when internet is down, is there another way to control ewelink devices

Oh, I’m thinking of mixing and matching devices as long as they support Zigbee. Currently, I’m looking at a brand called Moes, and I've heard that Aqara sensors are very good. What do you guys think?
