Yes but his net spend was only about 35 million.Most of the money was recouped by suarez,assaidi and suso sales.Besides there is this stupid wage structure that are FSG don't want to break.

I don't absolve him of blame completely as he was responsible for the southampton shopping.

What i do think is that he will be targetting higher calibre of players if he was not restricted by FSG.
FSG are very shrewd and certainly should take blame.

Fact is 100 mil is given to be splashed.

When a manager spent 100 million and yet complaining no money was given for marquee signing, then it is the manager fault that unable to find good players in the transfer market.
The manager can sign a marquee signing of 60 million with the 100 mil war chest and still got 40 mil left for others.

Lallana, Lovren, Markovic already worth more than 60 million.

Mind that not a single signing (except Can) of last transfer window (that worth more than 100 mil) who can be proclaimed a permanent spot of starting XI.

Rafa may have some dud buys, but some of those duds were cheap and did become useful in some games. Rodgers fringe players duds is as cold as fishes from space

As much as I wished, I don't believe fsg will give him a chance. Klopp? Haha, I suspect man city may be far more interested in klopp than of mr rodgers. Hope you don't mind me saying brendan Rodgers I think you are still in FSG's plans, at least to continue next season.

I do believe you have already been busy preparing your alibi for this season should the review come after this season campaign ends. Probably reasons like see what u can make Liverpool achieve if u have marquee player in the mould of Suarez [cough]. Oh don't have to write that down as your one of the pointers, just copy n paste my point. I should think FSG will nod in favour of that point.

The problem here is that FSG dont want to pay above 100k per week for any player.They think that a player should earn it.Even suarez for all his heroics was only offered 200k per week if he stayed.
If going to 2nd from 7th in one season was possible with SAS,I dont see why rodgers won't get top 4 again next season if he gets the strikers he wants.The last thing the club needs is another cycle of rebuilding.
If they really have to pull trigger,then i hope they have already convinced klopp to sign before that.

We went out of the group stage of the CL with only 1 win. Absolute disgrace at the Bernabeu. Disgrace at Besiktas. Disgrace against Villa. Nowhere near the top 4 and not even guaranteed a 5th place finish. Now, how much all of that is gonna cost us/has cost us? Not to mention, that stupid mouth Rodgers has. Hi fellow kopites.Anybody here already bought the ticket for liverpool asia tour 2015?

I don't buy the theory of cycle of rebuilding that needs at least 3-4 years to shape up the team.

Rafa won CL with first season in charge, although finished 5th, but after than consistently into top 4 position, and another CL final.

LVG only take half a season to turn the team around, from midtable team to 2nd.

If the manager is good and with money to spend, the team generally will show sign of improvement, it may not land the club a league title, as definitely not the like dismay performance like this year.

The team has gone backward that identical to 1st year BR in charge. 3 years rebuilding now back as same as first year, what kind of rebuilding is that?
Now the team basically need to rebuild again so not much different with new manager rebuilding.

Unfortunately as roturham has mentioned, brendan will use the SAS theory as be retained as manager for Liverpool next year (and beyond)

Though I highly doubt he can (even) manage a team like Real Madrid or Barcelona. When we say tactically naive, to him and some fans is tactical masterclass.

All the 12 run of staying unbeaten is rather stroke of luck in the series fixtures of teams we played against.

Kenny was out of the game for too long.Not blaming him for that.Everyone was carried away by the honeymoon period.

Rodgers not only got back into the top 4 but he also challenged for the league.Certainly that is no luck.Rodgers has improved alot.He knows what it takes to win.He just doesnt have the players.
I am not a blind supporter of BR.I feel that he deserves at least another half season.
