QUOTE(Everdying @ Jun 3 2015, 11:59 AM) while if suarez had stayed...maybe we be challenging for more trophies. afterall CL winner can net up to 70m while PL winner nets 25m. so in short, LFC lose out in the long run we will get eliminated in the group stage so the prize money is ~20m top... we got money for finishing 7th in the league too... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/47...-earnings-tableSee we top the bpl earning table last year... #historyteam

QUOTE(skyz @ Jun 3 2015, 11:48 AM) BR is like LFC golden hen, he sold Suarez for 75m, bringing in net profit of 53m (we bought him for 23m)... If we sell sterling this summer, at least another 45-50m net profit… Coutinho and Ibe his next golden eggs… FSG is pleased with their business model, no trophy nvm as long money in, so no BR sacking QUOTE(skyz @ Jun 3 2015, 12:31 PM) we will get eliminated in the group stage so the prize money is ~20m top... we got money for finishing 7th in the league too... http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/47...-earnings-tableSee we top the bpl earning table last year... #historyteam That's different if you take into consideration the total amount of money spent in transfer market. $110m? And that now we're 6th, it will hurt the finances next year, not this year. You don't see teams like swansea or southampton or any middle table selling clubs earn alot do you? That's only a short term cash. This post has been edited by cksoon: Jun 3 2015, 12:47 PM

FSG's plan is probably to keep yes manager with their transfer committee. Buy players which fit their low wage plans. Then once Anfield's stadium is rebuilt, package everything together and sell to the highest bidder. Profit !!

Fact. Sacked KK on grounds of underachievement but not for Wodgers because the latter is an obedient lap dog who settles for cheap mediocre signings that will make their account books like good and tidy.

QUOTE(AnythingK @ Jun 3 2015, 11:20 AM) I definitely need a lesson on interview from BR, he's godly! Oh god, I can't believe we are linked with swapping Sterling for Walcott and Gibbs. This deal is stupid and doesn't worth at all. Walcott is good, Gibbs is average, but what the heck of swapping Sterling to rival club? I know Sterling is going to be a very big thing in the future, but since he doesn't want to play for us, at least sell him to other league, and not a direct rival club. Duh! Walcott injury record doesn't suggest a good swap. Better keep Sterling for 2 years, somemore Sterling remaining 2 years wages is not high...

I don't rate Sterling highly because other than his pace he doesn't have much else. However, exchanging him for Walcott and Gibbs so they can sit on the treatment table with Sturridge? Sorry la

QUOTE(projectnew @ Jun 3 2015, 01:50 PM) No CL football can attract top players or not? Who actually wants to play for BR? Di Maria, Falcao, Herrera joined a non-CL playing team just last summer, while the manager linked with many top name as well. Be realistic, with BR in charge, despite with backing of transfer fund, the most I can see the link with the like Ings, Soton's or Swansea's players. or may be link with top name or striker (in League Championship) like Daryl Murphy, Jordan Rhodes.
