I know all of us already thinking about the UCL final
And i'm thinking Juve player also did the same in this match(losing the ball cheaply its like they're thinking elsewhere) But as of now Pereyra with a magnificent goal. Dude love scoring against Verona This post has been edited by noir7559: May 31 2015, 12:50 AM |

guys, watching messi's solo move on the copa del ray final recently, demm im so nervous whether our defenders can contain him. but even if we can contain him, suarez and neymar also can do a lot of damage to us. all i wish are all of our defenders can do their best in the ucl final. forza juve.

Need to park the bus ala Mourinho's Chelsea. In recent years, it seems only Mourinho's teams (Chelsea, Inter, Real) manage to contain Barca |

Just play the way we did vs Real Madrid but with more defending to shut out MSN. Lets see what tactics will Max come up with to exploit their weakness |

In recent years, it seems only Mourinho's teams (Chelsea, Inter, Real) manage to contain Barca with Juve tradition they rarely park the bus, but more like a defensive-catennaccio style(defense in unit, playing to their strength = in this case,Juve main strength are their midfield and defense) i think there's a slight difference between the term of 'park the bus' and 'playing defensive' Park the Bus = no intention to attack, shutting down goal area at all cost, committed nearly the entire team in own area, last but not least, trying NOT TO LOSE Defensive = playing to one main strength(if the team is base on defense like Juve) with an intention to win for the past 2 season in UCL our strikers has been average(except for Quagliarella). This season with Tevez already clicking in UCL(after ending his goal-drought and lifting that mental barrier) along with the pacy Morata & Pereyra, its evidence why Juve are capable to reach the final with the team capable of doing stout defending while hitting the opponent with blazing counter-attack(like against BVB in Germany) This post has been edited by noir7559: Jun 2 2015, 12:54 PM |

The game really will be decided by midfielders, how they can track down and close the gaps. remmeber what salah did in the TIM cup, messi can do double that. so marchisio, vidal and pogba need to be very alert and close the gaps when defending. when the defending is tight, messi might draw back and start from midfield, so here our midfielders need to close him down. man marking might not work against him, but probably marchisio will be tasked to close him down.
I don't think we will park the bus. when there's possession, we will hold and attack, knowing barca don't have good defenders and can be slacking in defence. |

I feel we should take a reference from the 1982 WC Italy v Argentina where a certain Juve legend Claudio Gentile man marked Diego Maradona to death
Yes with man to man marking we will lose one player but if it works, it will effectively make Barca down to 9 players as well. With our remaining 9 players we can slog it out with Barca. I say we kick, push, frustrate, dirty, dark arts the living out of Messi. That person to do the man marking should be Arturo Vidal. Freeing Pogba, Pirlo and Marchisio to fight 3 v 3 with Rakitic, Ineista and Busquets in Mid. Lets give Messi (the Italian race playing for Argentina) a taste of his motherland's true art of defending This post has been edited by Jusstatic: Jun 3 2015, 04:57 PM |

QUOTE(estcin @ Jun 4 2015, 08:25 PM) Omg..who else can replace him?? I hope Barzagli able to be at his 100%. Can caseres play already? since it is confirmed that Chiello is out, playing with 3 defenders kinda a bad idea now. But considering we are going to face the best attacking trio in the world currently, I say playing with 3 defenders can be a big risk even if Chiello is available. So most probably we will play with 4 defenders,Gk- buffon Def- lich Barzagli Bonucci Evra, Mid- vidal March pirlo Pogba Fow-Morata tevez This post has been edited by uzary: Jun 5 2015, 12:17 AM |
