But according to those English pundits and local ones like Abaas. It was not Juve played well or planned well. It was Bale la,, James la, blah blah did not turn up. Did not perform

Idiots cant think that when top players who perform like crazy suddenly cant perform is because of? Because the opposition did not let them perform. Its not that they didnt turn up.

Idiots.... Got paid alot to talk crap doh.gif

Same old Italian league and clubs bashing. Deep inside, alot are afraid the ITalian league and clubs will be like the god old days again where BPL clubs are always fucked facing them. Jealousy all over sweat.gif

i want to be excited more and even more proud with our win but what really matter is next week 2nd leg game. i hope we will beat them again, doesnt matter by defending our slim lead to the end or add more away goals, then it is truly mean we are something. i hate some haters say this first win was a luck.

hahaha what to do? Here in Asia(mostly Asean) unless if u are not Barca, Real, Bayern or BPL clubs...u would never get the credits u deserved

i think the best football pundit/talker was that indian guy(not Roshan), couldn't remember his name but that dude is in Astro program
called 30 seconds/30 minutes something. That dude knows his stuff esp when talking about things/football outside of Barca,Real,Bayern,BPL notworthy.gif

I think its Stanley Bernard you are referring too. Anyhow, Italian clubs are limited by economy issue. And as long as the country does not come out from the economic crisis they are currently in, its hard for clubs to move up further. its a ceiling issue.

Not sure if its Stanley Bernard that he was referring to smile.gif

Ya, economy issue is a big factor. Hence I feel Italian clubs should buy smart. Top notch scouts and scouting team is very important. I feel Juve, Atletico, Dortmund, Porto all have very top graded scouting team and network.

By the way. Guess what guys. I just saw a new colleague in my company wearing season 2012/2013 jersey. thumbup.gif

You know how hard it is to see another fellow Juventini in this part infested BPL country? laugh.gif I might go say hi and intro myself as a fellow Juventini too laugh.gif

yeap. Stanley Bernard. That him, now i'd remember his name laugh.gif

well, other than financial difficulties...i think the club management played a major role in club success too. Juve since 2011 has proven this theory right,
even with a limited budget compared to the other European juggernaut and oil clubs

Difficult as Real has an away goal and a 2 goal victory at Bernabeau is within reach. I think will be all Spanish finals

anything can happen. pirlo can go in SB and do a 2003 del Piero and get standing ovation. now Pogba is back, we have complete 4 very strong midfielders. Vidal is hitting back form, so as Marchisio. Only worry is Pirlo losing possession occassionally, perhaps he is the weak defensive link in midfield. Ancellotti feared Juve midfields, hence putting Ramos as a midfielder, and he failed miserably. Bale is not as fit. So RM really lose creative spark in midfield.

so as Bayerrn, remember quarter final Porto lead BM 3-1 in 1st leg, they thumped porto 6-1 at home.

so it's still possible both 2 Spanish team is out in the semi

Barca and Porto are really of different leagues. As long as Barca score in Allianz Arena, Bayern will need 5 goals. If the trio of South American not playing then I can still have some reservation but with them firing Munich is done n dusted.

Now Real - Juve I am pretty sure Real will win. Juve best bet is to score 2, otherwise it is either Real/ET. I still cant see Juve get past Real in Bernabeau

if the past record can be counted, Juve has ALWAYS scored in the Bernabeu

and like my posting b4, Juve rarely lose in a knockout tie when winning the 1st leg, while Real never won the semi-final tie after losing the 1st leg

its looks like a stars are align for Juve to appear in UCL final for the first time since 2003. The only advantage Real have is that the fact they've
a better looking team on paper and playing at home(well not really since their own home crowd boo the player on many occasions already laugh.gif )

But regardless of the result in Spain next week, Juve getting to this stage along with Europe top guns is quite the achievement already notworthy.gif

There's always a first time in everything. So we should always keep our guards and concentration up. The only way we can qualify is to ensure the defense doesnt make individual mistakes (remember Caceres back pass) and Allegri have to outwit Ancelotti tactically. We should rest our players especially the fullbacks in tonight's game as well. Hope Madrid given a tough time against Valencia.

Where did you come from? Not sure if you are being rational here or looking down on Italian clubs and the league. I certainly hope you are not a young football cum BPL fan boy coming here to troll.

Anyway, to be realistic, Real will surely score at home. But whether will that be enough to knock Juve out or not it remains to be seen. Real is still the favorites to go through. But in football, who knows, maybe 1 out of 10 some team will upset the odds. Maybe if it is meant to be, it might be this 1 time? sweat.gif laugh.gif

Real definitely is the team who will be having a lot of pressure. Trailing at the home game + defending champion. Not to mention they might end the season empty handed

While Juve is considered an underdog since the beginning of the knockout stage

Anyway, may the best team advance. Football is a sport of harmony (not too eh? lol) afterall

the 22-players in the crucial tie tonight

1 Buffon
3 Chiellini
5 Ogbonna
6 Pogba
7 Pepe
8 Marchisio
9 Morata
10 Tevez
11 Coman
14 Llorente
15 Barzagli
19 Bonucci
20 Padoin
21 Pirlo
23 Vidal
26 Lichtsteiner
27 Sturaro
30 Storari
32 Matri
33 Evra
34 Rubinho
37 Pereyra

i still can't predict what kind of Juve would show up tonight. Whether its the attacking/defensive or counter-attacking Juve

But hopefully Juve will play it smart like they did against BVB. Much
better if they can get an early goal(2 would be hell lot better) as it would
definitely shock Real and trembled their tempo. But anyway, expect a
classic UCL encounter tonight

I think it's pretty obvious based on last match. Juve will be doing 4-1-3-2. Back four of Linch, Bonucci, Chillini, Evra, then Pirlo DM, and Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba, Tevez, Morata.

Juve should avoid mistakes like loosing possession while attacking, Pirlo is very prone on this. So I think the defence line will not be that high, considering our defenders are not that fast. If we have a goal or 2 lead, then most probably Allegri will switch to 3 CMs

yeap. The usual suspect are always both Pirlo & Chiellini who seldom losing the ball esp around the dangerous area

but both of em usually make up for it with killer pass to unlock opposition defense(Pirlo) and great defensive/man marking work(Chiellini)

Allegri probably use the formation u listed above, but for me, i think the best formation if Juve to try to play the defensive-counter attack setup, it would be;

Buffon
-Lich-Bonny-Chiello-Evra-
-Marchisio-
-Vidal-Pogba-
-Pereyra-
-Tevez-Morata-

Pereyra & Morata's pace along with Tevez trickery run would prove very useful to disrupt the usually "high-line" Real Madrid defense

im both happy and bit down today, im happy cause barca made it into the final, is also my fav club, but im a bit down cause many people vote for madrid to proceed to the final. i dont blame them coz i know why the assume that. even me myself not really confident and nervous like hell for tonight's game eventho we were leading 2-1. real only need 1-0 to knock us out, and i doubt the would only score 1. people that vote for juve to go the final is either very confifent tht barca can beat us (mayb a lot easier than RM) or just dont want another classico. even barca is also my fav club, but it we met them in the final, the old lady will always be the one.

what i hope happen tonight that we will beat RM like how we beat dormunt, i want people to see that the juve is not just ''lucky'' to be in the semi, but we worth it. i hope we scored at least 2 goals, and try to not let real score at least no more than 1 goal. with the like of ronaldo, bale and benzema is returning, they will score at least 1 goal. i hope pogba can be our messi, i mean the miracle for us, the one that will decide the game. im really concern bout pirlo's performance lately, hope he or anyone screw it up tonight.

forza juve.

yeap. Regardless of what the result tonight(be it Juve make it to the final or not) one thing for sure Juve stamping their
authority that they are back among the European elite

we've been written-off during the group stage, against Dortmund..only against Monaco that Juve got a slight favorite tag. So its
not surprising that Real Madrid is the heavy favorite tonight..but having said that all the pressure is on em

my brain says Real 65%, Juve 35% chances of making it to the final

but my hearts says Real 45% Juve 55% laugh.gif

Nothing is impossible in football. We might win tonight and go to the final. I believe in italian team, i remember 2006 world cup in german, the german crush every teams that face them without mercy, but italy beat them and also win the world cup.

I rather we lose the semi-final than go to the final and be crushed by Barca

Our scenario currently is very similar to Italy at Euro 2012.

At the semi-final, Italy was matched up with heavy favorites Germany (whom coincidentally is wearing white Adidas jersey also like Real). No one fancied Italy to progress and the rest of the world wanted a dream Euro final of Germany vs Spain. Ended up Italy defied the odds to progress to the final only to be crushed by Andreas Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets and co

Now if Juve goes through the final, we will be facing Barca whom is very similar to 2012 Spain. Its Andreas Iniesta, Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets vs Bazagli, Bonucci and Chiellini and co again. It might again end up ugly...

I just cant take another UCL final loss after the painful defeats of 97,98,03 sad.gif cry.gif

We along side FC Bayern Munich and SL Benfica lost the most UCL finals. 5 times. But Fc Bayern won 5 times as well. Benfica and us are the biggest losers in UCL finals having gone to 7 finals only won twice cry.gif

Only 85 and 96 gave us joy..
