Can you provide more details on the warranty ? Is it one to one replacement ? or do I need to send back for analysis and I end up waiting for months before getting a replacement ?

You are right! Electronics like amplifiers, subwoofers, electronic seats and push start button all these increase the usage of your car battery. This is why we are very keen to bring in the 24 month warranty battery. The Battery Shop is all about giving the best batteries for the people.

What battery brand are you selling? If I only need to top up rm40 for an extra year of peace of mind, I don't mind though. Bear in mind that if the price difference between standard one year and two years warranty is too big, it will be a turn off to customers

When you purchase with The Battery Shop, you are assured peace of mind especially when it comes to your warranty. If you quote your receipt number we will definitely replace it for you no questions asked. This of course only applies to manufacturing defects.

This is our standard practice now.

We understand that too. That's why we are taking this poll as to see whether people are willing to pay the extra for the peace of mind.

I went to your website saw the batteries there.
The battery spec listed are in-complete.
Hope to see more information on the battery you are selling.

my case

1. INCOE NS40 non-maintenance free battery @ RM140

2. PANASONIC high spec NS40 maintenance free battery @ RM220

cost difference @ RM80 / 57% more expensive

durability assume same, 18months.

so if 3years projection =

1. INCOE NS40 = 2x140 = RM280
2. PANASONIC NS40 = 2x220 = RM440

both waranty 1year.

sure will go for cheapest.

if 2years waranty, sure go for it.

from my experience, MF battery way shorter lifespan compared to non-MF battery.

what brand you'll carry ? brows.gif

Hey darkdevilrey,

Wah, so detailed your statistics!

That's true - MF battery is shorter than the traditional wet batteries. I guess people are buying into the convenience of a maintenance free battery. I think for most people, the less things to maintain the car, the better.

So I take it you will actually buy into a 24 month battery? We aren't sure about the brand yet.. still looking around and doing testings for the ones we have. Maybe when launch that time can let you try first, maybe can come up with the same data for us again. Hehe.

Do sign up on our website at www.thebatteryshop.my/signup - you'll pay less for your NS40ZL battery smile.gif

Hahaha same same but different. AtlasBX is a bit better wink.gif the NS40ZL on my car is around 2 years already, but really depends on how frequent you drive, where you park your car and so many other factors. What car do you drive, if you don't mind me asking?

Hope we can gain some insights on what people wants from here. If there's enough demand, we might just bring the 24 months one in!

My solution is just maintain the battery water level frequently, and change it on 18 months to 24 months basic.. so , do i care about 24 months warranty since we need to change it exactly on a 24 months basic ??
