Ish.. You're making me feel like buying the bat.. Donic.. Hmm.. What rubber should I match it with?
*
Since the blade has lotsa control......u might wanna match it with a fast rubber for both FH and BH....Bryce should be nice for FH....since u've already got use to it with ur current set up. For BH, maybe Roundell?

If budget is a concern any chinese rubber which is fast will be a killer set up..... rclxm9.gif

To quote a reviewer on the net: I'm surpised over the fantastic speed and control this blade delivers. If you play an offensive game and want to combine this blade with a fast rubber, do it! It will kick _ss!!!

Nanyang Newspaper (I think) or some Chinese Dialect Association clubhouse..
where is exactly this place?
*
The Nanyang Newspaper Group' staff used to play at Jalan Tun Ali, Melaka. Try to contact them and see where they train now.
The Chinese Dialect Association clubhouse is the Melaka Hainan Association (in BM it is the Persatuan Hainan Melaka).

Nobody will be as rusty as me... hahaha... I stop playing since 1994, then stars playing again from 2004, then stop again in 2006... Since 2006, until today I played not more than 10 times, 2-3 hours max each time. The last time I played was during that time I join u guys few month back. I only keep myself in touch with table tennis by bouncing ping pong ball with my bat against the wall  biggrin.gif  Even though I dont play, the EJ in me never dies... guess what, I just bought a new blade.

Wah! New bat. When are you free to try it out? What brand and set-up (rubber combination)
Come out and stroke lah, tsd.

Added on March 2, 2011, 4:01 pmTo steven / zamrud,

The viscaria and the persson blade are both good blades.
Before one choose which one, try both in your hand and give it a couple of stroke to get the "feel right" experience.
Then you can choose the blade most suitable to you.

My opinion on both blades :
1) Viscaria Light - Butterfly Viscaria is a pretty good offensive blade with solid speed and control. It is extremely light, since it is very thin and you may get this kind of feathery feeling. As a result, it is not easy to get momentum with it, but you can still make some pretty fast and powerful shots, depending on your arm/body movement mechanics.

2) Persson Power Carbon - a stiff blade, hence this carbon-glass blade is for players who wants optimum acceleration without speed glueing, but through the blade. The carbon-glass-fiber blade is more elastic than ordinary
carbon-fiber blades. Despite the high stiffness, it offers superb feel. When combined with a rubber suited to the players style of play, the blade produces speed, power and spin without loss of control.

Another suggestion, why not meet up this Saturday with zamrud at 3K there and feel both blades before you choose which blade.

Have a good week ahead.

Yep, I love to come and try out my new blade and rubber combination.

I am downgrading myself again... in the past I use Butterfly Sardius blade with speed glued rubber ( I was a very aggressive attacker when I was young ), because of cerear, I stop playing for more than 12 years... When I make a come back after 12 years break, I have a lot of trouble with my Sardius, so I switch softer and slower offensive blade, Butterfly Kong Ling Hui Special ( KLHS ) blade with Bryce Speed on both sides. Unfortunately still cannot cope.

So now, I slow it down further to with a softer China made Blade with Inspirit Quattro on the forehand and Palio WP1013 pimples on the backhand. This blade is quite similar to KLHS blade ( both have two aramid/carbon inner layers ). The difference is that, KLHS is using Hinoki wood for top play while this China made blade uses Ayous wood for top ply ( Ayous wood is softer than Hinoki wood ). Hopefully this will be my final setup... thumbup.gif I hope I do not have to end up using both sides pimples sweat.gif

I am now selling off my KLHS blade because I cant use it with pimples, it becomes too light. With normal rubber on both side KLHS weighs around around 175g ( just nice ), but with one side pimple it weighs only 162g... too light for my likings.

My sales topic is on another forum. http://www.pp4m.com/v2/distribution/viewto...php?f=13&t=2876

There are only few that's left in the Butterfly's arsenal that is faster and spinnier than the Bryce. Namely Bryce Speed, Bryce Speed FX and the Tenergy series.

Have a look here: http://www.affordablett.com.au/smf/index.php?topic=430.0

how about rakza 7 by yasaka? it has 2 version, hard and soft sponge...

having used to it for 2 months for the hard sponge on my fh with yeo blade... i could say it suits my styles well.... but i can't give a review on that bcoz my inggeris not so good and may jeopardize its performance sad.gif ... but if u google about it, many reviewer said it's closed to tenergy 64 or 05... the price also closed to bryce and i bought it at rm140 from presports (but sold out already)....

True, Rakza 7 seems really good.. However, I can't think of any stores that sell it. Where did you buy yours? Other than that, I heard reviews about LKT Red Diamond being similar with Tenergy05. Anyone here tried it before?

guys,

I'm wanted to grab a new bat for my game. Currently using Butterfly Yuki II

and I'm thinking of grabbing this one

http://www.presports.com/butterfly-vsg-twi...e-off-p-94.html

but the problem is, i've no idea what sort of rubber to use, i like to play offence and sometimes, i like to throw some spinners.

Anyone can suggest? is the bat ok? what type of rubber?

Okay, first thing is, how good are you? Are your basics drilled into your body? If it is, you may choose better rubbers to maximize your game. If you're not, then do get rubbers that are more controllable. =)

Not an expert. But i'd say more than intermediate.
Basics are all covered. Now i'm practicing on serving. Spins. N more spins.

Which rubber is good for spinners and attackers? Not too high in price n not to cheap.

Maybe you might want to consider buying my second hand Kong Ling Hui Special blade. Still in very good condition and less than 2 years old. I offer you RM180, if you want to nego further, PM me.

You can do anything with this blade... Good for controlled game and also for powerful attacking game. This blade is quite light, so any rubber will suit, except for spongless pimples... it might be too light ( that is the reason why I am selling it, switch to a heavier blade ).

If I am not mistaken, this hypertt is located in Penang, right? Whereas presports is located in PJ.
