Any ES procs can be overclocked...but on how far you can OC it depends on other hardware as well. On general...3Ghz should be easily obtainable.

Perhaps you might wanna list out the other hardwares as well.

the max fsb i can run is only 445x7, 450x7 isn't stable.. 400x8 also can't.. seem it reach my e6600 limit? tried to raise up to 1.4 vcore but doesn't help. :/
*
List your hardwares eg mobo, PSU, ram...etc etc. E6600 could do 3.2ghz easily. Not all e6600 are voltage friendly. 1.4v cannot...then try 1.45v or 1.5v but do not exceed 1.55v with air cooling.

The gradient of the graph of the voltage needed to OC increases dramatically as the clock speed increases...

try 356x9 3.2ghz.. dont exceed 1.5vcore would be better, owes check your temp after you add vcore.
use coretemp to measure it.

no need change vcore, e6600 at default mostly able to hit 3.2Ghz
just change configuration at BIOS 400Mhz x8, the rest leave at default wink.gif

yea.. default should easily achieve 3.2ghz.. but go higher should not exceed 1.5vcore.

Idle around 48C... load around 59C... 1.56v not really stable cuz the voltage drop when loaded... i pumped it to 1.58v can orthos but failed prime... don't dare to pump further cuz air cooled and load temperature reaching 60...
