hi.. i think more than rm5,000 on the bumper and fender..NCD is just 25% from 3k...
*
Huh? So much?

My mom changed bumper once for the new City.. 1~1.5k all in I think.

Also NCD dont assume its only 25%, there is a trickle down effect... you have to do a 5 yr calculation...

Like my wife car if she loses the NCD, it will cost her about 10k+ all in before getting back to the 55%...

buddy, would you mind to share abit more? What insurance co is that
and how can you proceed it that fast. As honda bp told me it might takes 1 month!! 2 days to submit estimates, 5 - 7 days for insurance co (zurich) for approval, and another 5 days to replace the bumpers and headlight.

Omg.. i just read the news about the dato car got sita becoz roadtax and insurance from sarawak but use in semananjung.

1) How to know when buying car insurance is insured in semanjung or sabah/sarawak?

Another thing about the transfer ownership.
Car is in semanjung want to ship back to Sabah. My father want to transfer the title to me.
JPJ in sabah said need go thru semananjung puspakom and sabah puspakom. 2 times checking?

1. best check your insurance policy. but standard insurance policy does cover both semanjung + sabah/sarawak

2. JPJ side not sure

Hmm... I always used Allianz (except recently 1 of my cars tried AiG cause they give a cheaper rate).

Allianz have (not sure still) a system where you do online claim for anythign below $10,000 hence they dont need an adjuster to see the car etc, this saved a LOT of time.

guys. can someone help me clarify this.

my car was rammed from the back by another car, which workshop says my car a total loss. i want to claim OD-KFK but the car that rammed me has an expired insurance so workshop says i have to claim from my insurance, which will affect NCD. what options do i have now?

pretty much that is your only choice

OD-KFK can only be done if the other party is a m/car with comprehensive policy

the only choice to avoid losing NCD is TPPD

but it involve adjuster evaluation, lawyer, court process, and no guarantee the other party is financially capable to pay the court judgement

This is what is ridiculous with Malaysian law.

Last time my fren's car got knock into by a Volvo with no insurance no roadtax... luck the guy paid my fren 2k to settle...

If that loser cant afford to pay, you will incur more cost in the form of time wasted/legal fees.

he got compound for no road tax + no insurance + hitting from behind

most likely RM300 x 3 = RM900
