Just sign up for auto debit using a CC?

Although when U28 has 3GB (4GB currently), the additional 250MB feels like no point.... rather pay directly with discount.

Usually if got promotion like that when you go to 'pay my bills' usually they say something like 'get RM5 more off on your current bill for 6 months'.. so I was expecting the same on Umobile. Pay directly with discount? can share more details on that? biggrin.gif Thanks thumbup.gif

today i received a call from 600322990 but when i answer the call, i can hear music in the background.
is this a scam where if i answer the call, i subscribe to the service?
Celcom has the same BS scheme where clicking ads on mobile automatically make you subscribe to a service.

legit. the bonus will not be reflected in your Umobile app but only the customer service can tell you the remaining amount

Can I buy a starter prepaid card at Giant but register the number myself?

I tried contacting U Mobile via online & Phone but no success. I'm at Giant now but leaving soon.

Any user using the broadband wifi?
This is my first time searching for broadband. In b4 used unifi. But need to terminate since we always travel around.
Hope can use dongle, so i can share with my parents.
Besides, we always travel to Melaka,Jb and Shah Alam. So is it ok use unifi broadband-the coverage..
Thanks

I'm using u28 and noticed that when the speed is throttled, its still running at 1mbps instead of 64kbps. Did they changed their policy?

Too many users on that area. I manage to hit 20Mbps on 3G half a year ago but now most of the time hovering around 3-4Mbps on 3G

Too many users in the same area causes poor speed. Maybe using LTE would get speed I previously got on U Mobile hehe but my phone doesn't support band 7 which U Mobile currently using.

Actually, speed test not accurate under throttling... I can record 3~4Mbps for throttled DG too, the experienced speed nothing like that.

always happen when you buy from places like giant and cold storage. happened to me once and i had to go to umobile at times sq. too bad they don't allow self registration.

you could try other giant store with your sim and receipt.

Does it mean I can actually get the sim first and register at their centre ?
I don't mind going to the UM centre to register. The person in charged is on leave until who knows when.

Need some help here.

Last week I sent my phone for warranty. Not sure what that bastard did but I cant connect to network after that. I am pretty sure the problem is with the sim not the phone.

Should I call umobile or something?

I actually helped someone register a Umobile prepaid account. But this is 1 year ago if I'm not mistaken. Upon trying to activate the account, they will ask every personal details which is very easy(in USSD menu). The hard part is they wanted you to enter a dealer activation code. I found it at the back of the prepaid display case, like 4-5 numbers only, and then thats it.
