QUOTE(dawja5215 @ Dec 27 2015, 02:16 AM) I actually helped someone register a Umobile prepaid account. But this is 1 year ago if I'm not mistaken. Upon trying to activate the account, they will ask every personal details which is very easy(in USSD menu). The hard part is they wanted you to enter a dealer activation code. I found it at the back of the prepaid display case, like 4-5 numbers only, and then thats it. do you remember the number?

QUOTE(kani @ Dec 16 2015, 04:45 PM) Anyone can comment on the coverage of U-mobile around Subang/PJ/KL/Shah Alam areas? Got 4G coverage? And is the line stable? Major area as mentioned by you is really a strong point for UMobile. I MNP from Maxis to UMobile since July and have been constantly monitoring its performance. All I can say is their 4G speed is "slightly" faster than Maxis while voice call coverage is same with Maxis. Conclusion: I will stick with UMobile as everything almost equal but price is WAY lower!

I've just ported from DiGi to UMobile U28. Registered at MV IT Fair on 24th, successfully ported on 26th (two days holiday). Agree on major area being strong point for UMobile. Data feels same or faster than DiGi to an average Joe like me. At home near Equine Park, where DiGi only gets Edge speed (strange, last time I had H+), UMobile gives me H or H+. And this U28 only costs about half of my old DiGi plan. Will continue to monitor and stick to UMobile if nothing else changes. Some say underground or rural areas will give problems... we'll see if it's true and I'll check how often I go into those places

Outstation area especially smaller towns are less than desirable as this is expected before I ported over. Also noted that indoor data signal drop to mostly 3G in many buildings despite outdoor is 4G. But check at the price they are charging, I can stomach it!

I try to port 2 prepaid nos. from Maxis (previously postpaid but been converted to prepaid since more than 5 years ago, no package signed previously and no outstanding balance before conversion from postpaid to prepaid) to U-Mobile and both get rejected. Try to call the no. 018-388 1318 stated in the reply but can't get through. Anyone knew what's the issue? Back a year or two ago, had port few nos. around different Telco and hassle-free procedure.

Hey umobile peeps, I'm planning to switch from celcom first basic 38 (3GB) to umobile u28. Previously when my friend first switched, he had to pay RM28 (processing fee) plus RM28 first month bill. Is it true?

Guys, anybody here subscribed to the following plans?
Principal Line- Hero Postpaid P70 Sub Line- Member Line + TalkPlus
Since the member line only able to share data, the voice call is Pay per Use. Was wondering whether can add on monthly the TalkPlus to the member line as 80mins is enough for my sub line.
