Yes, yet again I forgot to show them the warranty booklet. So, don't know which to follow. Maybe the warranty booklet is for all Mazda models, and the battery applies to those without i-Stop like CBU CX-5?

On another note, I saw a CX-5 on the hoist replacing the gearbox. The car was WAXXXXS, so it is about 1 year old? The SC told me of a whining sound coming from the gearbox. Manufacture defect? Or abuse? Don't know... 

Is it just me or anyone noticed that the engine feels sluggish after first 1000km oil change? The FC went up as well. 

Feels like the SC poured a high viscosity engine oil in. High viscosity is like honey and low viscosity is like water. High viscosity = more resistance, but cheaper.

Sadly, I removed it today and there are sticky mark from the adhesive on the screen. 

Anyway to remove those adhesive mark? Alcohol swab? Cellophane tape? Wipe with water?

Do you feel your car is more bumpy when you get the car?

That is because the new Mazda 2 tyre pressure is pumped for maximum load capacity when it was delivered from the factory.

Newly delivered car tyre pressure warm tyre 44psi front, 52psi rear.

If you are driving alone or with less than 3 passengers (4 include driver), you should release the tyre pressure to the the lower values displayed on the sticker by the driver's door when you open the door.

If you are driving with 4/5 passengers (with/without luggage), continue driving.

Warm tyres +4psi (+30kPa) to recommend tyre pressure, meaning when dashboard temperature reading more than 32°C on dashboard and had driven a distance to the petrol station.

My SA said my name already got the allocation for the car. done downpayment just now. probly next week can get the car. long waiting pay off.

i am still waiting (and hoping) for more discount as i read from news that Malaysia automobile sales drop almost 50% average based on March (pre GST) vs April (post GST) sales. But also might due to ppl rushing to buy car before GST implemented, so i am still kiv on this. Need sifus here to share the thoughts. thanks~

Face something new yesterday . Found that is no remind beep sound when my small headlight is on . So when the second day ...the battery was drained. 

Unable to start my car and door is unable to unlock (this is my personal pratice.. as one I into the car I will lock myself for safety purpose ) then when I start the engine the door knob is unable to unlock until I'm keep stepping brake and keep press the start button. ..finally I was able to escape from the car .

I got no choice to get someone come to do the jump start. After jump start I found the car cannot be auto lock .. and the main head light is keep on even with the off signal ... after that I sending my car to mazda service Centre right away . The main issue like head light and lock function was resume .

Then today ...found another issue is the wiper is not working and the head light beep sound( when I off engine should have beep sound reminder) is not function too . The service advisor said this is the first time they saw this problem... maybe no one have jumpstart yet...

Tomorrow  will send my car for another check .

Wad i going to do is buy a car cover to cover my car. I got no idea wad else I can do to protect my car from cats other than coating (if able to protect).

Finally they found out The wiper electrical board was burn. Now have to wait Thailand site to bring in the spare part. Never happen when jumpstart will have huge damage on wiper on my previous car. Some more on this raining season is really making me headache  and realize how important is wiper ....sad

I heard that u need to recharge/jump the battery outside of the system or else you may end up frying other circuits..

no need to wait for AP license??? How come after your car cleared from custom, can queue for Puspakom inspection??
My car is in Mazda warehouse now, but she told me I have to wait for 2-3 weeks queue to get AP, then only can proceed to Puspakom inspection...
*I asked the SA again, and now she say its a misunderstanding. I was furious and when she found herself unable to answer my questions, she hand over the phone to her colleague and said that they are rushing it for me, still waiting customs to release AP letter and some sort of KI documents submission, might able to get the car in a week but no promise...

Feels something really not right...

Personal feel when driving (likely to be biased because changing from old Iswara to this baby)
The first few secs when starting to kick up the speed feels maybe sluggish, but after that its a smooth drive. Haven't try the sport and paddle shifters yet but its likely i don't have a need for it as the default D is more than enough for me. I started as a manual, and am a manual transmission lover, but i have no problem with the auto transmission offered. The learning curve is almost nothing anyway, just need to get used to your left leg sitting ducks all the time.

Almost no complain regarding the features and whats not. The car is absolutely brilliant. Almost got the hang of its i-Stop feature, and going to learn alot more later from the manual book. Brake is super responsive, which might be dangerous for me that got used to full-force braking in my old Iswara most of the time, even in jam haha. But that one i can cope with.

Even with the reverse camera, i still got used to turn my head towards behind to look for incoming car (well its a habit already, and it won't change because its simply efficient no matter how old fashion it is). Seat feels so nice, tho i am going to readjust on the upper part, else my head won't get that relaxed feeling when driving.

Design overall..   

Conclusion - No regret at all buying this car. 

My experience of driving M2 for 1 month are as follow:
1) Gear change is a bit slow for me (both up shift and down shift) but down shift is smooth.
2) Throttle is a bit light as well, not as linear as I would expected but definitely linear than most of the sushi car out there.
3) Handlling is great and steering is light so easier to maneuver around town.
4) Interior is the best. Nothing to complain.
5) Space is a major drawback.
6) Engine is not as powerful as I imagine after reading most of the comment but it is sufficient.
Overall I would give a 7/10
