Slow down, Mazda 2 sound proof is not that good and besides, is not meant for 160km/h casual driving.
*
You can do all kind of sound proofing as long as you got $$ , eh malaysian road not so good to drive that fast loh.

12.9/100km is on the high side.

Depending also whether you were cruising or stucked in city jams.

Otherwise if you are cruising at 110kmph you are likely to get 5.5/100km.
*
75kmph to 80kmph you will get 4.5L/100km

Anyone following this practice? Haha

Put N -> hand brake -> off car -> put P

My sa told me one
*
It's a good practice to make sure your car is in complete stop, before engage the P mode.
Imaging your hand brake or your leg brake is not strong enough in D mode, then your can still can move, then if you change to P now, you will damage the transmission.

@murasame85 thanks!

how do i make payment to my car loan? (first time here  tongue.gif ) my bank loan is cimb but i only have maybank2u.

is it Interbank Fun transfer -> choose CIMB -> type = Hire Purchase -> key my agreement no -> Amount -> paid?

how do i know that is successfully made to my hire purchase account? is there a way to check how much left i have to pay? must i have a cimb account to check the balance?

thanks.
*
Just call the bank to verify your payment details if you are not sure.

Whatever car, if you have the peddle shift, you can rev up and pick up easily.
In mazda default auto mode is the econ mode of honda / toyota, it save fuel and less power.

So there is no apple to apple comparison when you say mazda less powerful or toyota/honda more powerful.
May be we could only figure it out with the power to weight ratio.

Its happen to me after 1st 1000km service which is I drive it about 120km/h. Before the service I only drive it below 90km/h. Is it normal?
*
Its normal, just a cool down procedure. If you drive bit slow for few minutes before stop, this will not happen. I think its normal when parking in r&r on the high way, actually this is a great protective mechanism to cool down the engine.

If you still worry, make sure your oil and water level is still normal, and go the sc to make sure everything is ok.

If you find mazda service interval in US, it's 7500 miles = 12K KM.
But I am not sure what kind of oil they use.

if not mistaken , mazda USA uses oil castrol & MAzda Europe uses oil from total
*
If they use semi synthetic, means their engine is more durable can last 12k compare to ours only 10K.
Another possible explanation is there is no effect or very little effect between 10K and 12K, so it really doesn't matter.

Lucky I drive to work at Cyber, and really early ( I'm work in Australia hour ) so mostly traffic not bad and all the way 3 lanes  biggrin.gif , unlucky I work at Cyber as quite far away  sweat.gif
I think my 6.2L/100KM was due to that constant speed, even at 120km/h

I went to Melaka few weeks back. FC have huge difference !  shocking.gif
To Melaka: Blasted at 160km/h, lost 300KM+ mileage.
Back KL: Smooth cruising at 90km/h ( rain and traffic  laugh.gif  ), lost 100KM mileage only.

Guess m2 cant go beyond 140km/h, as at 160km/h RPM was 4-5K
*
Best FC is around 80km/h at less than 2K rpm. Not many drive like that especially for new car.
You can get 4.5L for sure , I tried many times.
