True also. Prices quoted by resellers also super duper high. Anyway, I ordered through Rati's own site. It's on the way here now. Way cheaper than quoted by the above seller who doesn't keep stock either and will preorder for u.

BTW are the u Justin who arranged the group buy for Rati armster 2 in mym2 previously?

Hi, Just wanted to ask, how did you order online, because from their main website, they didn't have an online store. o.O only distributors from other countries.

hi, i put my booking on Oct 18, my SA recently told me that the car price have been increased in 2019.

he said i got 2 options
option 1: maintain as 2018 OTR price + 3 years free service
option 2: top up additional rm2000 to 2019 OTR + 5 years free service

my question here: is it worth to pay additional rm2000 to enjoy the 4th & 5th years free service?

kindly correct me if i mentioned anything wrong here.

Had a similar 'Gearbox issue', not sure yet, still checking tho.

Anyway, it started just after my last free services (3 years), 2 weeks after the last services, when ever I shifted to gear 'Reverse' or 'Drive' there's a knocking sound. It does not occur in 'Park' or 'Neutral' gear, and the sounds basically stops whenever I drive or when the car started moving.

Sent to Mazda, they informed and quote me the following:-
1. To get clear check, gearbox need to be taken out (Labor cost alone Rm750-850)
2. They said it's either torque converter problem (replacement cost RM4K-4.3K) or flywheel (RM650)

Which means, it could be either RM1.4K or close to RM5K of repair.

Anyone faced similar issue? I have check in some forum and in car talk community, there are some who faced similar issue (but not the new skyactiv), most would say either the loose heat shield or the belt tensioner problem only.

hi guys may i know what kind of "gearbox problem" are you guys referring to? my car is having some issue that concern me. Sometimes when i drive up-hill or going up a slope my car will have 'tick tick sound' when shifting gear (gear 5 to 6- speed around 70+) and when the sound happens, the car is jerking, like it cannot change to next gear and no power. i've manage to record the sound, you can listen at here at 1~5secs , sent to SC and they simply said, cannot test the problem sad.gif but it does happen and shown them the noise i recorded but they insist said no problem.

and will your car rpm down to like 500 when you stop ur car in D mode (like waiting traffic/ reversing your car in slow speed) and the car vibrate very hard? mine will and its so darn annoying, SC said that's normal.............. shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

so wanted to sell off this car bfore big problem comes....

2018 model should be all 5 years warranty already wor.

Anyway, i would say depends on your usage. If you're high mileage user and you you think you can drive up to 100,000km less than 5 years, then no point taking the 5 years warranty period

Car warranty 3 or 5 years and/or 100,000km (whichever comes first)

Free service up to 60,000km only. After that, if you wana continue your warranty, you gotta send in your car to Mazda official service centers for scheduled maintenance. Else, high chance your warranty will void.

Coz alot people wana save cost, opt to service outside after finishing the free service by Mazda. But touch wood if anything does happen between 60,000km~100,000km, Mazda can say no to warranty claim.

Well, if you manage to kao tim with any mazda sc then different story tongue.gif

Mine is 2015 batch, halogen version. Had the similar situation (three times this I had encountered, car jerked once, rpm dropped and TSC+engine signs lit while driving starting early 2018), the signs went off and car back to normal once engine restarted. Went to my regular local dealer SC in Kuala Terengganu, only told no big deal, they just overwrite the error codes. Since I heard this could be a cronic issue from other M2 members, decided to make an appointment with Bermaz PJ (attended by Mr Kumar) for thorough check-up, ended gearbox issue and have it replaced within few days. Fortunately, still under warranty by few months left, if not 15k to replace iirc. So, better check it up with Bermaz PJ to assure the real issue behind your situation. Best wishes

Not easy to deal with them. Plus, without proof very difficult to get them to address the issue.

One of the way is, make detailed recordings whenever the issue arises. Take picture, record video.

Of coz the best way is if you can replicate the issue with their technician by your side.

Just describe your problem (better if you have noted down the issues) to this special case team as Mr Kumar is one of the specialist in tackling these issues. They will scan and inspect your car tip to toe as your complaint. Those who have their warranty expires, "maybe" Bermaz would extend a goodwill replacement if you still keep servicing in authorised SCs and best you have these complaints logged on them system the time you were servicing your car at their SCs

normal SCs would taichi you, only the Bermaz PJ team know what really needed to deal with. If you drop by and have it checked by them, their verdicts are pretty much the ultimate answer to your relentless worries
