I saw some article shared in lyn stating tax can be paid through AMEX. But subjected to some transaction fees of 3% is it?

Just want to ask if I do it on weekend is it charge immediately or they only processed on weekday? If instant guess I still can reduce a bit through the rebate with a net of 2% not inclusive of points.

Anyone that paid through AMEX? Thanks.

Chen Chen Ho Pulau Ketam Steamboat - Bandar Menjalara no longer accepts AMEX. Previously they were using MBB terminal, now switch to Alliance Bank.

Kaligo.com (Travel & Hotel) accepts AMEX. I posted on V2 previously but didnt get updated on page 1.

I was in Starbucks 1U new wing earlier as well, about 5pm. Couldnt reload on Amex. said that they changed their POS machine and end up not being able to accept Amex. No idea what's going on.

tried and failed. in d end, they will ask u to register an account. and once ur amex is linked to ur paypal, it can't go through also.

For those who have trouble using their AMEX card at BHPetrol counter, please write an email to BHPetrol Customer Service. They will investigate on the affected outlets whether they're participating merchant for AMEX card or not.

if not mistaken, it's there all the while. but you can't key in amex number since they separate into 4 columns not 3.

I reported before in many years ago that Outback Steakhouse in Bukit Bintang accepts AmEx unfortunately the outlet in Nu Sentral doesn't accept AmEx. sad.gif

Pizza Hut Delivery (www.phdelivery.com.my) does not accept AMEX..yet..although they are using MBB terminal. You can select but when you proceed it will show that transaction cancelled.

Christy Ng (shoes shop) at Jaya One does not accept AMEX.

Celcom Autobilling via their OCS Portal. Although it shows Visa and MC logo only, filling your AMEX number works. And they give 5% discount

"No surcharge for minimum RM50 using credit card"
the AMEX logo was cover by a white paper.

I think perhaps Viewnet will collect surcharge for using AMEX

yes, i renewed mine on 2nd May via Etiqa OneLine. called in the morning before noon. of course not yet received the cashback yet. howevever, i've gotten it last year already.

furthermore, myeg online doesnt accept amex (from post #4).

I tried last night (around 1.00 a.m.) AmEx failed but CIMB Cash Rebate went through. I bought 3 stuff, so 3 transactions and no issue.
I saw few posts in Maybank thread mentioning Groupon with AmEx seems to have issues recently.

edit: i noticed that both Nando's in Mesra Mall and KLCC both (at least) use HSBC terminal. if KLCC franchise accepts Amex, shouldn't Mesra Mall's too? hmm.gif

I notice now chatime can accept AMEX already.
saw quite some shop with AMEX logo.
I bought RM29 worth 4 drink and swipe AMEX at chatime Cheras sentral.

but no bcard point when payment using credit card

Is Guardian not accepting Amex anymore? Just got back from an outlet which I have used Amex before. They say they don't accept anymore. I asked why, they say dunno. Just that the terminal does not accept anymore

When there 4x only get to use...

FYI, can use easily from 8am to 12pm everyday if open

after lunch, IPD system might down...especially for the extended hours...

Now is reverify can use...

for first time is easier, since you will need to key in your address. but for renewal, sometimes we changed address and forgot to edit (since your address is saved but hidden), then it will be sent to the old address.

I try doing it..yes,there is a new payment channel for amex after we key in all car detail..but after i put all amex particular and submit,it say transaction unsuccesful.no payment made..

if okay, do it next Saturday. try online first. if failed, call etiqa oneline to complaint. If still fail, renew over the phone using amex.

digi: pay using the kiosk
celcom: seems none, in any payment channels

that should not be the reason. if not mistaken, the guardians i went to, also using cimb terminals but they do accept amex. even giant hypermarkets are using cimb terminals but they do accept amex.

Both also tried can. At the cashier, have 3 counter. But only 1 Maybank device to swipe. They have to share it.

You can see in Maybank thread for any update. However, despite Maybank has removed the wording but it's confirmed that effective 1st August, only dining will be applicable for 5% cash rebate. This is based on confirmations from Maybank CS and Maybank insider news.
