Is Guardian not accepting Amex anymore? Just got back from an outlet which I have used Amex before. They say they don't accept anymore. I asked why, they say dunno. Just that the terminal does not accept anymore

called MBB CS again to verify the MCC for Starbucks. the outlet i swiped was under MCC 5813.

i guess should be fairly safe since Starbucks nowadays no longer under MCC 5812, but instead 5813. 

do u use umobile ? if yes, try to get the ucard, you'll get immediate 10% off from the bill + collecting ucard points. at least got something, if amex not accepted 

i was tempted to keep passing the ucard around to queing starbucks customers in front of me. they get 10% discount, i get the points  too bad, i'm too shy 

1300 is chargeable by your telco, 1800 is not.
