I used Maybank FC Barcelona VS and M2 Amex to pay insurance and got CB. No CB if Jompay/FPX.

1. FC VS can get 1% by paying in GE e-connect, right?
2. How about paying GE insurance with Jompay using KF? No points, right?

1. Choose the cash option on checkout and pickup from the store. Can tap card to pay (tried it and they're still accepting AMEX in store)
2. If you have the old mobile app, can still use AMEX via payment there (not sure how long can use the old app)

Not AK or D7 flights?
Both AirAsia Malaysia (AK) and AirAsia X (D7) accept Amex.
Some foreign AirAsia don't accept Amex.

ACCEPTS AMEX
Mercato (Gurney Plaza Penang) with AmBank terminal. They default to an AffinBank terminal so you must tell them you're paying via AMEX, then they'd switch terminals.
Paid via Apple Pay. Had to enter pin weirdly enough but payment went through.
I assume if paid via physical card it would have paid normally via contactless.

Same thing happened to me at Guardian IOI City Mall. Terminal is Hong Leong Bank, paid via Apple Pay but prompted to put pin, and transaction went through. Then I bought another item but paid via physical card instead, and went through just fine. I did note that on the terminal receipt, it says "American Express (Contactless)" and "Maybank AMEX" as the hosts respectively. Then I checked M2U the next day, the physical card transaction was already posted, however the Apple Pay one only got posted the following day.

Ah so it isn't just me then. Also, that pin issue thingy also happens on Maybank's terminals too.
