many had suggested one year war, and personally i think 3.0 palm is way too big, i have none to compare so i wonder if i were to get one should i opt for one year war or 3.0 hmm.gif

Articulation wise which one u guys prefer
*
v3 no doubt is great in term of details and articulation.
but i dislike the 3.0 hand. it looks big and fat on it.
and v3 seems not sturdy. (nt my preference)

I have a question regarding water decals
I notice somwtime it doesnt stick well even after uaing setter, and I notice theres a bit of dust (from topcoat) which might be the case. Is it advisable to rub it clean with a dam cloth before I put on decals? It only happen like 1 out of 20 decals

i know
other than that it would be less challenging since i won't be doing decals, red comet should stay red!
problem is....for snap fit, i might end up drawing the gold (since i have the marker) and use the knife to carefully scrap away the excess :/

How did you apply? Tell step by step, then maybe can pinpoint where's the fault

The price is mark up a little.
But with the promotion given only it is worth it.
Gundam.my earn a lot from the promotion given by 11street.
A while ago the 50% and 99% off voucher, saw every crazy to buy RG and HG.
I myself also got like 6 units.

1st I dip the decal to water until it is just able to slide, not too long until its completely lossen, then I apply a layer of setter, put the decals on, and remove the excess with q tip, usually it will stick properly but only at some area it does not stick n I need to apply more setter to ensure the adehsiveness is enough

When you're doin straight build the surface itself might tends to have slight oil residue or too smooth for the decals to hold on.

the way to rectify this is either buy some high grade sand paper to sand it 1st may be #3000 above, or wash it 1st.

for my part usually i painted my kits so the surface is rough enough to hold, for those non paint parts i spray a layer of transparent matt or gloss.

I did apply a layer of coat, but i wonder if the powder from coat (when i touch the surface, it feel a bit powdery) been the cause
maybe i should wipe with dam cloth before i apply decals since i will be coating it again after decals

Probably due to some oil residue on the plastic from the injection-molding process, next time you might wanna wash your runners with soap water before start building

some powdery is because matt spray can be very fast to dry out after burst out from nozzle, thats one of the cons of spray cans because you need to keep 30cm distance (actually this depends on how hard you press the nozzle) hence this distance enough for some paint to drr up even before it reach the kit surfaces.

not sure about this but can try slight press on the nozzle to lower the paint output and spray closer, but if cant control just try tamiya finish polisher.

or damp cloth if you want...
