Oh my budget < rm200 haha. Cheapskate xD.
Was advised to either get second hand (bit hard to find and dunu will get cheated anot) or search from taobao. =(

Plus most second hand i see on the market is selling for rm200+ and most of it is tenkeyless. I need the numpad because i deal with excel alot.
*
<RM200 for a full layout is kinda hard. I think the only options are finding from Taobao(clone switch) or hunt down for used units. Good luck.

Question then..what would be the normal depreciation rate for a keyboard? ..for a second hand unit..used for X number of years..how much would the price go down?

I think it's pretty hard to value the depreciation rate for a used keyboard. I think it rely solely on how much the owner wants to let go, if they can't sell, surely they will reduce the price to sell it off. Some of them just refer to other seller's price.

In the case of custom keyboard, usually the price don't reduce that much. Some of them even gain value to a certain extent due to rarity like some of the korean customs or vintage keyboards. Rarity and configuration, like some built with switches that are more rare in the market, or specially tuned.

I know this explanation don't really answer what you asked, but hope it helps you. Just my 2 cents sweat.gif

My first MKB, a DS3 was basically lost during transit and I am still putting my hope on it.

Now I refer back to previous posts and seems like DS3 has many issues?

Any other MKB to recommend apart from Ducky? Cherry MX Blue with backlit.
*
oh no! how did it lost? ohmy.gif
i think DS3 has some led problems in the past.

blue switch with backlit are quite difficult to find hmm...

the other one that i can think of is ducky zero shine RM3xx range, or tenkeyless layout, CM Storm Rapid-i RM3xx range, or Deck hassium RM50x

others that i wouldn't want to recommend but suits your requirements, it would be;
corsair vengeance k70 (non-rgb) ~RM500,

i got my ssk from taobao, forgot how much i paid for it already, but i rmbr it was quite pricey (i think about RM400-500) as ssk is very difficult to find in taobao.

personally i wouldn't get that or recommend that due to the following reasons:-
1) gaming layout, not compatible with standard or winkeyless layout keycaps.
2) using kailh switch.

Hard-core typist...
Only recommend Filco mx brown or blue TKL. Only TKL please, else don't say hardcore typing.
If want better upgrade get HHKB or Realforce TKL.

You can refer to the first page for more info.

For your budget:
Backlit = CM Storm QFR-i
For typing (feedback bump tactile) = Brown (Tactile) , Blue (Tactile + Clicky)
