OHH i remember d!
that special edition keyboard with multi led and multi switch?
i remember they use that as a demo unit for ppl to test out different switch with that keyboard.

that was ducky shine 2 limited edition or some fancy pansy name wan.

but personally i don't quite like multi switch keyboard because i prefer having uniform switches across my board (although i said that, but my nerd keyboard are all using black switch except for caps lock and scroll lock, those 2 are using blue switch for the reason that it's a toggle function)

but its really up to you, i highly recommend that you go to heavy-arm and test it out yourself.

In the end I took Ducky Zero. Just the entry level one. Wait until it reach me, I will have to test out the MKB first. Hope my S3 appear afterwards.

Erm, normal keyboard? You mean those usual rubber dome keyboards?

If you're referring to those, then you should think again why you came to this thread and how much do you understand about mechanical keyboards.

*No offense but seriously. If a 4xx ringgit brown switch Filco feels same as the free Acer keyboard that came with the home PC, I'll flip my table, smash that keyboard in pieces and burn it with gasoline. Just kidding tongue.gif

Of course they feels different, that tactile bump, surely feels more distinct than usual rubber dome, and the key travel is more satisfying. Not trying to make it sounds like the most perfect thing ever, but it certainly feels different and better.
*
Ha, never touch mechanical keyboard, dont know how feels its. sweat.gif

Red Switches and Brown Switches, no idea choose which one. rclxub.gif

Red suitable for gaming, heard before.
For typing, not recommended at all.  sweat.gif
I also write review, I recommend tactile switches.
Ya, RM4xx really expensive. Before GST, RM 369 only.
*
Reading a review bout Red switches, some user like to resting their finger on top of the keyboard like i always do, this act will accidentally push down red switches key. blush.gif

so i think i will go for Brown switches (Tactile Switch) as yours recommended. smile.gif

That isn't a mechanical keyboard, no?

As for rubber dome, no idea who able to fix it. We needs to know more on the operating mechanism of that keyboard and cause of failure then only can proceed with advice (if any).

Since it is out of warranty, you should try to disassemble it yourself and try see if there's any possible cause to that.

Just remember want to review it today. smile.gif

Get a wrist rest, or hang your wrist in air when typing. The latter is free. brows.gif
