So anyone's switch got warping like claimed by a few?

Mine has slight bend on it. It's not noticeable until I put a ruler on top of it or on a flat table. I guess it's a manufacturing issue as I never played it in dock mode, and my playtime is probably less than 2 hours (few rounds of puyo puyo tetris).

Since bendgate seems to happen quite a lot nowadays on any gadgets, I assume it has something to do with the material the manufacturers used. Producing huge amount of products into the market to meet the demand undeniably have compromised some of the qualities. Hopefully mine won't bend it like beckham laa

BTW, is the release date for Project Octopath really April 28? That's just around the corner! Why aren't Squeenix releasing any news on it? We need to build the hype!

Issue sensationalized and overblown out of proportion IMO.

How do they know the dimension is supposed to be complete rectangle instead of slightly convex at the back? The back of my Nvidia Shield tablet is slightly convex at the back coming towards the center, even when everyone else almost always thought it's a flat surface. Is your Switch screen cracking inwards if it is indeed warping?

I've learned not to worry about these nitpickings and enjoy what it has to offer. Unless the warping is significant or obvious (like you laying the Switch on a flat table and it starts spinning because the back is like a huge round pimple), these are just the work of a few who wants to bait clicks for their websites and views for their YouTube videos. OR the extreme OCD nitpicky ones. Nintendo can make these out of steel or metal, if they're so picky about flat surface tolerances, but are they willing to pay extra for the material used? You can never satisfy these kinds of people.

I don't think there is any official date yet besides them confirming it's in 2017. Can't even find any date on that.

Anything with a "Project" prefix at the front means it's still early in development. That April 28th date, 2017 or 2018? Gamespot isn't exactly reliable when reporting release dates. They source info even from placeholder dates put on by clueless online retailers like Best Buy or GameStop.

Just like the "issue" (a non-issue to me) of "warped" Switches, there's also the nitpicky cries of screen being "warm" instead of "cool". These idiots fail to realise that when it comes to digital photography and catching light photons using photoelectric effects on camera sensors, depending on what Kelvin temperature scale light source you use, or even which focus point your camera focuses on when you finally tap that camera button, you can get images captured vary from being "warm" to "cool".

In short, general uninformed-ignorant public are idiots. They propagate sensationalised news without checking the truth or the correct background info on what news they're sharing/liking/propagating. Or they're the infinitely worrying type that they need to nitpick every single thing they "THINK" is wrong with their Switches, while being ignorant about the nature of the thing they're nitpicking about. Ignorance can do that to people.

My brother already released two divine beasts, I am nowhere even near that. Enjoy it and take your time. No major new games out yet anyway lol.

How many of you sacrificing warranty and get from other country unit? Last time missed opportunity to grab at 1699, now got at 1553. Really gambling on this.

A "Project" connotation denotes a, well....."project" under development. Sonic Mania was "Project Sonic 2017" before it got its final name.

120 shrines. Maximum 30 hearts, with plenty of stamina wheel.



Done. Not interested in shitty seeds. Continuing to grind for materials to upgrade armor sets, and gonna start hacking for those armor sets dropped solely by Amiibos. Am not a fan of ingame-items locked behind more real-world purchases of items I don't want. NTAG215 and Powertags coming next week.

Already unlock all four divine beasts. But spending time roaming around, gathering stuff, upgrading suits, trying to find all shrines, side quests and collect enough korok seeds. No rush to finish the end-game.

me just 6 hearts with no divine beasts defeated

still don't have the confidence to kill the first divine beast mini-boss (the game is so stubbornly unforgiving)
so now doing side quests and slowly work on my close combat (still suck at side/backflip jump/block at the right time)
and practicing over and over again at the shrine near zora's domain

I beat my first elephant with 6-7 hearts, it's not that difficult compared to my first time venture direct into "Major test of strength" without doing the minor/modest first (I don't know) cause I just bump into that shrine.

After that was collecting hearts & stamina. Stamina maxed 3 circles now. 16 hearts, with 8 orbs in pocket.
Most difficult I think is the electric one inside lizard at the volcano there??, hint: do the side quests to get Gerudo's helmet lightning proof (sorry, can't remember exact name).

I'm not invested enough on Amiibos to get the N2 Elite/Amiiqo. The NTAG cards and the Powertags are rewritable, don't need 200 slots for Amiibos for my use.

That Gerudo helmet is Riju's Thunder Helm. And the electric boss, the Thunderblight Ganon is super easy if you have the Rubber Armor set. Combine it with either Master Sword and/or Guardian two-handed weapons, and it'll chip away Thunderblight Ganon's lifebar in no time.
