Just curious, anyone here ordered their Switch from Amazon JP...? Do you have to pay any taxes when you receive it...?
The reason I'm asking is because Amazon collects Import Fees Deposit (taxes, duties and fees). According to them, I won't be charged additional fees if the actual Import Fees exceed the Import Fees Deposit amazon estimated.

QUOTE(isr25 @ Mar 12 2017, 12:44 PM) I didn't order the Switch from Amazon JP, but I'm a regular buyer from Amazon US. The concept is the same; import fees deposit is collected upfront. If the import fee is higher than collected, Amazon will absorb the cost, but if the it's lower, Amazon will return the balance through store credit. Ah, that's great to hear. Guess I'll stick with my order then. Thanks for prompt reply bro!

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Mar 28 2017, 02:56 PM) Anyone actually got the tempered glass from impulse? http://www.impulse.com.my/nintendo/nintend...ered-glass.htmlIf it's any good. Looks like some aliexpress stuff so wondering if quality is good. I got mine last week, I'd say it is probably some aliexpress stuff, cuz I found a similar design but different color packaging of the SP on taobao. As for the quality , I'd say it is probably just okay I guess, I'm not expecting much from it anyway. And the dimension of the SP is slightly smaller, meaning it wont cover from edge to edge, it'll leave a little screen space uncovered (refer pic below). It doesn't bother me tho, so I'm good. IMO, RM49 is pricey for a no-brand SP, but as I need it asap, no choice la. Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Mar 28 2017, 03:59 PM) Oh thanks for that, looks good enough for me. I'm using the official nintendo sp right now came in with the pouch i bought. But planning to get glass cuz yeah better. Glass is waaay better. Also, forgot to mention, it's tight when you dock it. I'm not sure if it's like that originally w/o SP, bcz I play it 100% handheld mode.

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Mar 28 2017, 08:11 PM) Tight when docked.. Hmmm will have to consider, i guess that will be the case for most glass. There is some gap though? Not much? It's the rubber in the dock punya pasal. Once I slot it in until the rubber part, it'll be a snug fit, I have to just slightly push it down to make sure it connects.

Mine has slight bend on it. It's not noticeable until I put a ruler on top of it or on a flat table. I guess it's a manufacturing issue as I never played it in dock mode, and my playtime is probably less than 2 hours (few rounds of puyo puyo tetris).
