That kinda ironic, since the sentiment of some of people in here that the Neon Switch is "embarrassing" to be seen around compared to the Grey ones. Funny that the Neon now is harder to get than the subdued, "not ashamed to be seen in public" Grey, eh?
I've learned throughout my experience with Kickstarter and Indiegogo not to trust any of these bold claims. Looking at their Indiegogo page, there's no technical readout of the product they want you to sponsor them to make. What battery cells, Panasonic? Samsung? LG? China-explodey brand? What internal voltage? 3.7V? 5V? 12,000 mAh in what battery configuration, serial or parallel? What charging profile? BC1.2/1.3 (Battery Charging profile, from non USB-PD capable cells?) or USB-PD? If USB-PD, what charge rate? And charging that internal battery, I already know it's gonna be slow because they opted to use a micro-USB connector on that battery instead of USB-C. The fact that it includes a better kickstand or have two slots of game carts means nothing to me, with the plethora of stands available in the market now, as well as game cart cases, which better protect the carts than leaving them exposed in that slot.
Watch their Indiegogo video. They don't even have a working production unit. If you look closely, it's 3D printed, with that telltale rough textured surface. And lots of shots of CAD drawings to compel you to their apparent seriousness. Standard practice on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and veterans on these platforms know how many projects gets funded and followed through and how many of them failed halfway and the project proposers run away with your money.
