QUOTE(Atsumori @ Aug 15 2015, 12:45 PM) need your help guise cause im really noob, i watch several youtube video but still cannot understand. Shoot with aperture priority mode (A). Then u can easily play with the aperture by turning to command dial. The lower the f value, the more blur background you can get. Hope this helps. my gear is D5500 with standard lens 18-55mm. how to change aperture without zooming? for example i want to take a picture of someone, at the same distance, i want to blur the background or i want to take clear background. I had the ground to support the body, my hands live the SLR off ground a little (support by ground) while fingers tilt the lens upwards.
Hand-held with ground support. |

Today's macro features metallic green bugs
A metallic green Frog Legged Beetle (Sagra sp.?) by Ji Tan, on FlickrFrog-legged Beetles are so called because of their hind-legs that sort of resemble those of frogs. Even so, these beetles don't use their legs to jump. They are capable of flying, but they rarely do so, possibly because of their inefficient manoeuvrability. These beetles are usually come in a variety of metallic colours, and can be found on foliages. A metallic green Long-legged fly (Dolichopodidae) by Ji Tan, on FlickrLong legged flies are true flies that often come with beautiful, metallic colours on their body. These flies are predatory and usually feed on mosquito larvae. Long-legged flies are known to be very sensitive to the flash of a camera, and is fast enough to escape the frame of your shot! Amazing reflexes! More on Macro Photography here: PixelsDimension Check out Malaysia's wildlife here: WildLife Malaysia |
