i just bought Nikon D5500 from miyamondo online. my first dslr. anyone buy from them before?

i noticed that all the manual and warranty card is in Japanese language.

got 2 warranty card, 1 fr Nikon Worldwide Service Warranty with serial no and model no printed. and 1 fr miyamondo 12 months warranty.

need your help guise cause im really noob, i watch several youtube video but still cannot understand.

my gear is D5500 with standard lens 18-55mm.

how to change aperture without zooming?
for example i want to take a picture of someone, at the same distance, i want to blur the background or i want to take clear background.

i have D5500
i want to buy extra batteries, is it ok to buy 3rd party batteries like DSTE EN-EL14?
Nikon Original EN-EL14a very expensive, i want to save money to buy prime lens.
