rclxms.gif  good idea...
will do that if there is a "VERY good" entry point between now till 20 Apr.

btw...in FSM can we have another a/c? example set up another portfolio of funds under different names? like "unofficially" set up a child edu portfolio? anyone tried using beneficially a/c?

you can open beneficiary account, i think max it's 3 beneficiary acccount.
everytime you open new beneficiary account , you get to the new member benefit, enjoy the 1 month 1% sales charge
maybe you can open one account joint name with your wife, one join name with your children, one join name with your parent, etc...

Well it good to average it out. I'm lazy so I just top up 1-2k every few months tongue.gif You can also consider buying more before dividends are announced!

FSM has an advantage of offering discounted SC during promotional campaign for new investment and topup at ANY amount.

On the contrary, eUT always comes with a condition of exceeding certain amount in order to enjoy lower SC; usually > RM 5k onwards.

I take that back. Technically there's no difference in buying before or after dividend is announced. The unit price drops after dividend announcement, but the total value (after dividend re-invested) is the same, all else being equal. Some like to see the unit price when investing... like buy when unit price is low... Unit trusts are not stocks!! The unit price doesn't make any difference.
