guys, what are your take on PMB shariah aggressive fund?

i'm only started on ponzi 2, and now considering whether to start on the above or go into greater china funds instead i.e cimb greater china equity fund
*
hmm.gif what do you wish to have in your portfolio?
you have Ponzi 2.0 which is Asia X Jpn.......sort of covered about 41% in China/Hk/Taiwan region.(28 Feb factsheet)
(China/HK/Taiwan is that Greater China Region?)
if yes, then why want to get another CIMB Greater China fund?
PMB Shariah Aggressive is Malaysia focused fund....fund size not big.....may try consider Kenanga Growth fund

get what you want for your portfolio, set the % of allocation according to your comfort zone.....

if the investment value is just some small change to you (in which "hilang sikit pun tak pah") and if you don't know what to buy?
try read page 161 post#3210 for a simple no brainer portfolio set up

Malaysian ringgit strengthens to 3-month high

PETALING JAYA: The ringgit strengthened to its highest level in three months to RM3.5462 at 8am yesterday, after more disappointing US economic data reinforced expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will not hike interest rates anytime soon. The recovery of oil prices was another promoting factor boosting the ringgit, as higher oil prices will ease the deficit pressures on the country.

Instead of KGF, why not Kenanga Syariah Growth Fund? I bought both of these funds and I find that the Syariah one is more stable and give better return. Just my 2cents worth.

I am still staying put for KGF and EISC. But my case could be different because I bought these funds after the market correction in December 2014 and January 2015. Therefore I still have a margin of safety of 10%.

The test is....do you think about your funds in KGF and EISC when you go to sleep, go to the toilet, driving your car, etc? If the answer is YES, then it is time to sell the funds or trim down. smile.gif

Whoops correction. Looks like I have to eat my words. I just login into my FSM online account. My profits for EISC has dropped to 7.24% and my profit for KGF has dropped to 8.86%.

I am doing intra switch to transfer the profits to bond funds now. This was after experiencing the big drop for RHB-OSK China India fund.

How Does One Predict Equity Market Returns?...PUBLISHED on July 25, 2011
In this article, we highlight the 3 key components of equity market returns, allowing investors to estimate the potential returns one may expect from an investment in the stock market.

How Do You Determine Which Regional Markets/Single Countries Are Attractive?.....September 10, 2014
We often say that a stock market is attractive, cheap or is trading at a discount compared to our fair estimate PE ratio, implying an opportunity for investors to venture into the market at an attractive valuation. How then do we evaluate the attractiveness of these stock markets? In this article, we will be discussing more on our approach in assessing attractive markets for investors.

"Investors should note that while this approach allows for the identification of attractive stock markets, it does not serve to provide the actual timing on when they will rebound".
