wah.. increase expenses. Less profit for investors

.....As such, we would like to inform that under the GST regime, all charges (sales charge, transfer fee, switching fee, redemption fee and platform fee) and expenses charged to the fund (annual management fee and annual trustee fee) will be subjected to GST and will be borne by investors, unless stated otherwise.

For first time in years, euro economy starts surprising on upside.
(Reuters) - The euro zone economy is sprouting more green shoots than anticipated just as the European Central Bank fires up a money printing program worth more than 1 trillion euros.
An analysis of Reuters polls shows more than half the most important economic reports since the start of the year, as well as data across the bloc's four largest economies, have beaten the consensus forecast and many have topped the highest prediction.

Dear FSM,

Thanks for your confirmation.

So using my example above, the NETT sales charge inclusive of GST is rm5.28, so the balance (rm1000 - rm5.28) will be proceeded to buy unit of funds right?

Thanks!

I think we are now buying at the peak of the market. Some investors (including myself) are already taking profits off the table for KGF, Eastspring Investments Small Cap Fund and CIMB Principal Global Titans.

My 2 cents worth is that it is too late now to jump on the bandwagon and to invest one lump sum into KGF and EISC and hope for a quick profit. This should have been done during the market correction in December 2014 when all the unit fund were in the red and selling at a discount. But DCA into KGF and EISC is still possible if we are investing more than RM10K and have holding power of 2 to 3 years.

Nah , I do not think it's at the peak , perhaps after GST implementation will be the best time to sit back and watch while putting in more gradually , lump sum investment will be risky thou
