My friend said, should be ok, as long as it in the original packaging... 3rd party item like stock n barrel might got trouble because looks like part for real firearms.

I asked those who imported them before they told me the same. I want to order the worker's pump grip for Retaliator though, not sure if there is any issue with that.

Great info, and very very COOL looking~~~
"Rival" series I think it won't appear at local maybe...
cuz the age setting is at 14+ not actually for kids,
and it look very likely like real guns...
Anyway I take out all pics to have good look, Thanks.

Not shooting fast enough in a nerf war? That is what holding me from getting the retaliator from my friend, even when he offered me cheaper price for it. ROF is not good. Gotta have at least semi auto for nerf war, full auto is good. Unless if I can get rival apollo, manual priming is still acceptable. And it has better accuracy.

But if you are playing target shooting game, then no need high ROF.

Retaliator is a great blaster. ROF isn't really relevant as you need to understand what is your role in the game depending on your load out.

Retaliator shoot very well and reasonably accurate. I could hit a guy with shield with my retaliator from 20-30 feet away, aiming his exposed body/leg so it's good enough for a springer. If you really like Retaliator but ROF is an issue, you can get the pump grip.

I never really once felt that the retaliator is incapable as I simply adapt to the game and role. And ammo conservation is great with retaliator. It is kind of a common misconception that Springers are never good in a Nerf war. Well that only applies when every others players are using Flywheels. Flywheels tends to burn ammo way faster than they should, and limited ammo counts become a problem as they need to scavenge and load up the mag/clips.

Btw 241d is your friend still selling the sonic ice Retaliator? I'm interested.

Keep the moving parts like the muzzle/trigger/mag/clip release Orange color, it should be fine lol.

i would prefer a strongarm/rough cut/ flip fury over a retaliator any day. the retaliator IMO has a contradicting design. it has a fore grip, but the prime is at the top shocking.gif . power wise, it's just a pistol-sized blaster with attachments, nothing fancy there. you're just carrying more weight than you have to. plus, no slam-fire means lousy rof. if you're using a springer, at least get something with slam-fire, for those panic situations sweat.gif .

that's just me. i've never liked the recon, so i guess it's just inherited hate. laugh.gif

addendum: the plunger tube is way to small for it's price/size laugh.gif

But you get 3 attachment, barrel, grip, stock... Hehe. Can sell for profit.

I prefer roughcut more than strongarm, because easier reload, and can either shoot one, or two dart at a time. But accuracy nit as good as strongarm.

And yet, Retaliator is one of the best blasters around, stock or modded. Makes me wonder too. One of its biggest pros of Retaliator is that, it's a mag-fed blaster.

Even in the Nerf game community here, Retaliator is one of the most popular springer. Well that's probably because it's widely available everywhere here hahaha

Add a pump grip and you get an easy to operate and accurate blasters. But anyhow this is all personal preference. But it is undeniable that Retaliator is one of the more solid blaster especially the internals.

I guess personally I just like Retaliator alot LOL

yeah, retaliator can be modded to make it better(most blasters can too), but out of the box i don't see it being "best" in any category. as i said some time ago, it's only good for the attachments. my argument is based on:

- clips: only good if you have a few preloaded, else it'll take longer to reload. applies to all clip fed.
- range/power: retaliator doesn't really out range any other elite blasters. so why carry more weight?
- no slam fire puts it under par to most clip fed blasters.

i just don't see how retaliator can be "best" in any category. it's just popular because it looks cool, i'll give it that. laugh.gif

no offense, just a healthy morning discussion. icon_rolleyes.gif
