Better buy go-pro camera. Can use for other stuff. Action camera, hd is secondary,  priority is speed.

Haha, anyway waiting all of them release and watch YouTuber review 1st.
I still hope to see Elite Hyper-Fire will be release in local,

I prefer a 2-in-1 blaster, like the demolisher, except i hate thr missile launcher. Semi/full auto elite + manua (either elite or mega) l kinda like masterkey modulus stye.

Long wait is better than never lol. Honestly, judging from how bad the sales of modulus ecs-10 is locally, it's hard to imagine hasbro Malaysia will bring in anything that is more than 50 USD.

Nerf is just too expensive here... As adults also I'm quite certain that i not going to spend rm200++ on nerf blaster.

As MYR value drops, nerf becomes more expensive...

Unfortunately so. Nerf are so much cheaper in the US or China. I'd import them from China since they are like, 1/3 of the price local retails are selling. Even with the shipping it is still at least 1/2 cheaper than buying them locally.

hah! just got some comments from co-workers that flip-fury hits harder and straighter than a strongarm. i thought it was just me. so it's now my best pick for office war. thumbup.gif

tried a lipo stryfe the other day, doesn't work too well. even with a flip clip. too inconsistent when i comes to power as you need to full rev the motors for max fps.

the flip fury they were testing on was mine, so at least i know those things laugh.gif .

in other news, just finished with my lipo stryfe's stock.
Attached Image

stock was too short for my liking. originally planned to make it extendable, but it looses stability and was wobbly. so i made it permanently extended instead. sweat.gif works great now.

3D printed attachments courtesy of Mr. sphiroth. thanks man. let me know when you've completed the rough cut clip-speed-loader jig. thumbup.gif

So..Just for the shits and giggles..I replaced the spring in the Star Wars Delux blaster's spring with OMW 5kg. The rest stock, just lube up the internals.

Jesus this thing shoots so much harder than my 5kg OMW Retaliator with Stage 1 & 2 kits. I suppose the size of the plunger makes a lot of difference when the spring is upgraded.

Gonna try primary this SW Delux blaster for tomorrow's game for the lulz.

I'm new in nerf, but I felt kinda strange when people only mod the spring strength, but not the plunger size. I'm no expert in mech/physic, but this mod is a better one than spring imo.

Reason is simple. To mod the size of the plunger, you literally need to cut the shell up and find a way to fit the larger plunger. It's not "better" mod than spring per say, unless you are really good at shell integration and stuffs, up-ing the size of plunger is impossible.

I'm thinking of making a custom plunger, not mod the original one. I maybe able to print the whole plunger assembly but not sure it will works perfectly though because part printed are not as strong as molded plastic, and to compensate for that, the wall must be thicker, thus reducing the inner size...

And like you said, the shell already limit the size of the plunger. ... what if the plunger is 'square' to make use of all the available space...

If I were to try/experiment with this, what is the best blaster? (cheap2 one)

Else, must learn how to use the CNC machine later...hahaha

Uh..I think most if not all of the plunges/syringe are round is because it's more efficient that way. Ever wonder why you never seen a square shaped syringe before? Lol

Cheapest one would probably be the Firestrike.

Agreed. Tube have better seal due to no 'sharp' corners.

Firestrike, still expensive for try and error job. How bout nite finder? Can get used on cheap. Is the're space inside for bigger plunger?

Added: did some reading, seems like making 'plunger extension' is a better ways. Tomorrow will do some more readings.

which is why longshot is much sought after for modding. it has the largest plunger tube and plunger to date. you need to reinforce the seal though, the stock tube has a flaw on how it seals.

IINM night finder uses a direct plunger too, so pretty good candidate for a lab rat. don't think it has that big of extra space though.

I actually do have a Longshot with OMW Stage 1 & 2 kit.
It shoots very very hard but is not reliable lol. It jams and shreds darts like mad.

Seems the only way to run Longshot is to brass breech that beast. But then again I don't really like Longshot in a game as it's huge and unwieldy around the field. None of the Nerfer run longshot as well, eventhough I saw one guy with brass breech but never see him using it in the game. Maybe it shoots too hard lol.

Then one thing I realize is that, stronger spring don't always necessarily means better. I've run a 7kg spring on my Retaliator before and while it does shoot, the darts can never stay in a straight trajectory. The blaster is so strong it sends the dart curving like mad lol. With stronger spring the ammo types become important. Unless you are running Stefans, or you'll just ended up hitting nothing with a beast in hand.
