well i think if they did have it they would have displayed it on the shelf, besides they were busy cos they manage to sell another DS while i was there....go Nintendo! thumbup.gif i paid about $45 for minish cap while i was there.

this is definitely be a good place in the future to hunt for those rare games because it's likely to be the last place to clear their stock with their current prices...i'm all for original games but i think most will stick to sg wang.

Wah play about RM120 extra just for the warranty ?!?!?!

not at all. the price you see is the actual real official DS price in Malaysia. we get cheaper stuff elsewhere because those are imported.

you probably know that the PS3 coming out in Japan is a few hundred US dollars cheaper than the ones coming out in the US. the european get screwed over with Wii, and can probably get it cheaper if they imported the Japan or US Wii. the only difference here is that the DS is region-free, whereas Wii isn't.

Now gotta wait for a Wii to make its appearance at the Official Counter. LOL XD so small yet it can draw some crowds too.

Hey, if there is anyone who has seen the counter, is Phoenix Wright available there?

Original official warrentee?

I think there are a few things we must look out first. What is the warrentee. It might be 121 3months, and 1year. And no warentee for dead pixel... THe warentee they give in Japan and US are very different, i really do not expect them to give the same warentee here. Better ask carefully.

Bought Wario Ware: Twisted! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO interesting little game. It is a definate for those collectors hidden you. It is a game of many 5sec (yes that is right 5 seconds) mini games. Some out right ugly... but you will learn to love it. However do try it out first. As the looks might be a turn off for some people.

Some might have forgotten to mention that there is also a rumble thing in the cart. Yes, it rumble when you turn your handheld.

Game[play] Imagine you holding your NDSL like a steering wheel, then turn it like a steering wheel. That is how you play MOST of the games (sometimes you need the A button). In some games you need precise turns, in some hectic fast turns, some big turns... untill you will be holding your DS upside down.

So far i am confortable with it. The cart sticks out alot but is not obstructing gameplay. And no... my NDSL have not flew out of my hand and hit a supermodel on her head and hence making her fall in love with me.

Remember now you can NOT find pirated copies and it is only RM129, and it is a UNIQUE piece of Nintendo Handheld History. So give it some consideration.

It is
a. Creative
b. Unique
c. Fun
d. Lots of stuff to unlock and
e. Collect
f. GYRO-whathamaginga... technology = COOL way to play games
g. got some cools old re-imagination mini games base on OLD nintendo games. With original sound track (mario, mario 3)

it is NOT
a. a game with coop-play (so far found no way for people to interact)
b. graphically stunning
c. serious
d. long
e. 3D

What is this hang-up with the words "official" and "authorized" anyways? Has anyone asked if this company is somehow dealing directly with Nintendo of Japan or NOA? In my opinion, official means that Nintendo has suddenly decided to set up a branch in Malaysia. Kinda like how Microsoft's regional centre in Singapore deals with all the Xbox issues.

If you check in Hong Kong, the price of a Nintendo DS and its individual games are actually comparable to the price of imported games down in sungei wang. an official dealer selling them more expensive means a step backwards from there.

My advice? Visit them. It sounds like they actually stock more stuff than most shops in KL. Heck, if they have some old GC titles i want then i might just pop in there. Find out where the chain of warranty goes to. If it sound like a reliable dealership, and your luck with nintendo stuff has been lousy the past few years, then go for it. Just please don't swallow the medicine they are selling just because its "OFFICIAL"

If anyone wonders, I got Minish Cap for RM110 about 3 months after it was released.

We don't really need Nintendo to set a branch here to get official prices. In Singapore, it is Maxsoft the distributor that does the job in supplying stuffs including warranty and setting up official prices.
