Just called maxis cs.
They can reprovide the promotion. They have initiate sales dept to call me again.

Intent of this promotion actually to secure contract with customer. It’s a win win I guess with 6 months rebate.

is the maxis rm99 business plan gonna get charged RM10 for public IP as well?

currently using home plan for my biz premise, if add rm10 gonna be same as biz d so thinking of changing to biz instead.

also, do wireless cams still need to use public ip? i remember last time hikvision needed so i requested for public IP with maxis, however recently i use ezviz wireless cams at home (unifi) without requesting for public ip and they work too.

Anyone subscribed to "Max Wifi by Maxperts"?

I'm confused by what is actually being offered by the add-on?
Expertly-placed mesh wifi nodes?
For RM19/mth (or RM29/mth), regardless how many nodes your premise actually required to achieve full coverage?
Is the existing 3-nodes mesh (sign-up) considered as part of the Max Wifi add-on? Or Max Wifi is considered separate 1-node mesh or more package?

Because if terminate Max Wifi add-on subscription, Maxis requires to return all the mesh unit. (That sucks if it actually considered the 3-node from initial sign-up as also part of the add-on.)

For RM19/ mth, u will get UP TO 6 nodes from Maxis. Maxis installer will do the signal test and installer will justify how many unit(s) is needed.

Exisiting free units will be belong to you.

Recently got a call from 03 2303 6726 claiming from maxis.

Offered me free upgrade to 100mbps for 1 year, subsequent year pay the usual rm129. But its contract free, so i can just cancel it after a year and revert back to 30mbps at rm89 with no strings attached.

This legit?

(mine is LG8245X6-10 router @ node 1)

Do you know what model is deployed under Max Wifi? Or it will match existing router installed on initial fibre sign-up?

If not matching existing sign-up router, then the Up-to-6 nodes includes replacing existing router?

Are we allowed to tweak the mesh config after installer leave?
(such as band 2.4GHz, 5Ghz, DHCP, etc etc)

My digi 50mbps contract just ended and have signed up for maxis 300mbps at rm149/month.
Signed up via agent and was given foc 6 months plus one additional month(will update if eventually i get it). I calculated after getting a subsidized tv, my cost works out better than staying with digi. Digi didn’t even bother to call up to ask why I’m leaving yet haha

I received the same call and proceed with the offer. Hope it’s not a scam. 😬

Last year was 6 months discount but today they said 12 months.
