Friend complain to me his maxis fiber no internet since 2 days ago, on router everything is lighted up.. call Maxis but no one pickup the phone

my TG389AC firmware is 17.1 and has been running 77 days since last reboot
it is why i hold on the TPlink replacement until Maxis has better solution

do u experience the new TPLink Archer AC1200 WIFI auto disconnected and resumed, u dont really noticeable unless u r doing live video steaming, i dont have this error on previous old router.

The original setting of 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz was set to auto channel and channel width, i hv tried to change the both to manual setting, i am not sure if this could help

Additionally the voice connection was down at the same time, the phone light on the router was missing, the error in the system log said "voip register fail, response code(503)"

i contacted maxis CS, they said the old router belongs to maxis and must be returned, is there anywhere written the router belongs to user?

this is due to the firmware issue, how maxis provides unstable firmware???

Would like to ask. I just got my fiber plan 100Mbps less than a month ago. Then yesterday a guy called saying that he's from Maxis, and need to come to my place to do a firmware upgrade on yhe router. I got the Aqua router with maxis label (black color).

Wondering, is it legit?

He said maxis wants to change the router from technicolor to TPlink. Anyone gone through or know about this?

Me happened this issue on last 2 weeks also,after reboot c5v router all setting gone,need to reconfigure step by step. router firmware ver still same as previous. 

Hi guys.. i need help. Im using new Archer C5v dualband router after upgrade my plan from 30mb to 100mb. 2.4g & 5g speed is good but if i never online (using internet) from my hp, the wifi is connected full bar but no internet. I need to go to my hp setting to manual off my wifi and on it back again. So leceh need to check my wifi with or without internet. If no internet, my hp will use my own hp internet data. That is sux. Need to very carefull when i watching youtube or data call (whatsapp call & video). Anyone having same problem?

If you are on 1200 c5v too, try to set the DHCP Lease Time from default 60 mins (1 hour)  to maybe 1200..  see if the connection stays on and less disconnection due to IP re-assign issue ?

So I just installed my maxis fibre today. Why is it they connecting to a TM modem. My unifi modem is set aside.

last week my 5g keeps disconnecting, sometime the 5g hard to reconnect back.

if switch to 2.5g ok pula.

headache, headache. alreadt set the dhcp to like 1200 mins, still the same.

my tp archer already update to latest firmware.
