My maxis connection DL speed has dropped significantly last week. Getting only 100 to 150 Mbps. Complaint to Maxis and they came and troubleshoot and replaced my old Archer C5V with a Huawei Wifi 6 router. However DL speed for all my 5G devices except for one now can achieve 175 to 200 Mbps but still short of the 80% of 300Mbps speed. The other device, a H96 Pro+ media player can achieve a DL speed of 325Mbps, whether cable connected or wireless. I am very doubtful about the 325Mbps DL speed given my package is 300Mbps and both giving a constant DL speed of 325.

Lets say the H96 Pro+ is giving the wrong reading, can I say the problem I am not getting the maximum DL speed is now due to the TM modem (silver box).

Last Monday (13 Sept) I have reported the Huawei router provided by maxis is intermittent down.
Today (19 Sept) they come and replaced the router. After 20 min the issue happened again.
I have actually used my fren ASUS router to use for more than 2 days.
So I assume it is not Unifi fiberhome ONU issue, or even power supply issue.

Is this a common issue for every provider (unifi/maxis/etc) that we must change the default router? Else huawei router is really not good based on the issue i faced.

Also, any chance i can get refund for this? basically i nvr served by a 24x7 internet since first day ... lol

He's given the options to grab either Maxis router(didn't specify which) or Tplinks AX20.

VoIP, you can reuse old kaon as just a phone adapter if you disable the internet interface and bridge the voip vlan out from the asus

as for 4g, you must set the hostname of your asus router (in LAN section) to Maxis_Archer_C5v to trick the dongle into thinking it's connected to the maxis router
(the kaon and the other routers maxis gives all identify themselves as that to the dongle)
