Try my luck today , unfortunately , ASW 2020 not available to open new account ...

Care to tell where have you tried to open ASW new account? Any reason given that resulted failure to open the new account? sad.gif

Need to wait for it to mature or else rugi. Also cannot top up so many in one book in case "something happen". I have only one book.
My mother managed to open RM500 of asw2020 on 1/9. Told her to open just in case something happen to one of the fund. Can transfer into another book.
*
Mind to advise where did your mum open the new account? I would like to try my luck, probably tomorrow or Friday flex.gif icon_question.gif

I went to Melaka asnb office ady , they said full... I dunno whether is true or not... They only keep ask ppl to purchase asm.
*
as mentioned before, they can see real time how many units are available on ASM, that's why they are confident to open new account for you. whereas AS1M and ASW is based on trial and error which they do not want to do.

fully subscribed is not true because people have been topping up 10-20k at one go for the past few weeks. surely rm100 is available to open the account. just need to find helpful branch and staffs

hmm.gif Just recalled, I've tried to open a new AS1M account on June for my mum, MBB said can't open new account, can only top up for existing account holder. So I've tried to top up my AS1M, yet no available units sweat.gif Since you guys mentioned that new account can be opened when units are available, meaning they have the new books stand by at all times...? unsure.gif

KLIA2? Then maybe I shall "try" opening ASW later at KLIA2 or KL Sentral if convenient (since will be passing by), else will "try" tomorrow around Setapak area, will give an update where possible laugh.gif

Yes. They always have new books standby.

Yes. I opened my ASM in maybank klia2. No questions asked. Just tell them that, I know fully subscribe. But I know if got units available, I can open a new account or topup. Please try for me.

This is for the ASM book. Previously the ASM book does not have nab seunit. With this new book, they have nab seunit, IN CASE FP change to VP, they are ready.

yup. quite disturbing to see the new ASM book with the column 'nab seunit'

Yes, ever since ASM has changed the passbook, it doesn't really seemed right to me..

I was like believing that it would be converted to VP anytime..

Hopefully its just my ''thinking too much'' or ''worried too much'' perspective..

ASW2020 and as1m also changing book la. One should worry too much as we should always think of worse case scenario and come up with contingency plan. smile.gif

NAB = Nilai Aset Bersih = NAV.
The new ASM passbook added this extra new NAV column in order to be variable price ready on 1st Jan 2016, just in case the fixed price extension is rejected by SC.
