The ingredients are quite limited, actually. Might not be enough. If I were you I'd stick to the more trusted brands. Plus, your hamster can't complain if the food is bad right? Since it's the only food available in the cage, no choice but to eat lor.
PS: To all those people who say 'Well, since my ham/gerb/rat/mouse/dog etc eats it without a problem, the food must be ok la.' I hear this statement A LOT. But when I look at their animals, they look very scrawny or undernourished. Some people also think it's normal for them to look like that. Your pet can't complain. It's like feeding your ravenous dog trusty or pedigree. They will eat what you give them simply because there is no other choice for them. Some pets even try to eat stuff that's not edible due to lack of nutrition. Vary their diet and rotate brands or change something in it once in awhile. It would improve the quality of life of your pet and they will receive a much more rounded and sound nutrition. This post has been edited by Reanne: Nov 5 2006, 03:46 AM |

lol
Pet's Wonderland doesn't stock Prestige. Got Sluis, but old stock. Pet Safari has both. It's normal for them to pick and choose. You'll have to leave it there for a few days for them to eat at least 2/3 of the food. |

It's the best value for money mix out there. It's used widely as a basic, nothing more.

Today went to Petaling Street... Petsmore got supply for Sluis and Prestige.... and the other shop down the road got many cheap wheels. Also some new stock of Syrian hamsters... their winter whites and robos look sickly but Syrians active and better looking since stock just arrived.
Edit: Here's my new hamster's pics... ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by crazymouse_yyh: Nov 5 2006, 07:44 PM |

Can put. As long as there're no sharp edges. But I see no point putting a mirror for hamsters, birds maybe, not hamsters.

Mirrors, whatever for? ^^ Better place wood chews and toys for em. Anyone needs a pink hide toy for hams? Not using it, maybe available for trade since my Pearls prefer the coconut husks.

One week cucumber, the next apple, then carrot, then pear. Should be safe. Veg is a little wet for me, so I prefer those dry treats like carrots.
