hello, newbie here. i just bought hamsters last 2 weeks, then i found that they dont sleep in the house that i already provide. So, they sleep in the tunnel and keep the food there.

Its ok if i remove the tunnel? and how to know if they are fighting or play?

Well here's my opinion. Since they've already 'selected' the tunnel as their home. You might as well leave it there. Shows that it's the most comfortable and safe place for them that's why they chose it.

How many hamsters do you have? Is your cage/tank big? Syrian? Dwarf? Usually when there's that squeeking sound it's fighting. But during the night time when you're asleep they might fight more aggressively. I prefer to keep all my hamsters separated just to be on the save side. The only downside of this is that it's more costly... and don't worry.. as sifu crazymouse and reanne always say.. hamsters are solitary and they won't get lonely living alone.

ah okie. Well, i only have 2 hamester, and they live in the cage. They are Syrian. I removed the tunnel atm, see if this works or not. Er... just want to make sure, only male Syrian have testicel right?

Of coz only male syrian hav testical la.... Do gers hav testical like the guys?? DUHZ "

& Syrians cannot LIVE TOGETHER.. THey are solitary and best u keep them separeted.. Coz they will fight till DEATH.. they may not fight now, but its a matter of sooner or later ... (yea, learnt quite alot here from sifu)

btw, wad colours are ur syrian? take pic la.

wad is cabut? will grow back one i think, we human hair also will grow back la unless got illness. is it got mites anot?

Bleh? You can actually see the testicals? That's not very common.. usually people check for their scent gland and the distance between the anus and the sex organ.

Yes. the male yellow/white. normal one.. i think any shop also got

... better u take pictures of tt part for the pros here to identify..
Suggest u look up for more advice and knowleadge(4get how to spell) from the wedsites at page 1 before u breed them.... u also wan healthy pups rite.

herm.. about the sex things, now im sure both are male. Some website said, only saperate them if they start fighting *confuse*. so far i dont see any fight happend... anyway, i better get a new cage

better get new cage loh, coz sooner or later they will fight.....and mostly fight at nite while v r sleeping.
Give them more toys loh, so they won be boring. after u handle the 1st one, wash ur hands before touching the 2nd one, if not, mayb ur hand will.....u know lah....

hamster tank is same with plastic tank that always can be buy at almost every petshop..but the best price at jalan pasar la..cheap..almost all my tank i buy there..
