my lancer had it but the M2 HB doesnt, bit annoying while driving on HW now. have to get use to holding in down till ive change lane

since the DRL bulb is used for DRL and position light which is dimmer, i wonder if a LED bulb can cope, since it would required a certain fix voltage, instead of a normal bulb which will just become dimmer on less voltage

Got my white sedan yesterday. Satisfied on almost everything M2 has to offer (MZD connect, walk away auto alarm turn on, 3 sec signal light (which you just need to turn half of the signal dial and it will show turn signal for 3 secs. This feature is available at new Benz, which I'm surprised we got it too), night vision reverse camera)

On the other hand, M2 is really lack of storage space which I have problem to keep all my stuff like auto gate remote, gate access card, wallet, mobile phone.

I bought iOttie Easy One Touch XL Car Mount Holder to mount my iPhone 6+ but it is a challenge to find a good place to mount it, as the 7" screen has taken up all the good space to mount the phone. I reckon mounting it at the leather dashboard will not be a good choice as the soft touch will cause mobile phone to wobble. Now I mount my ip6+ in between 7" screen and dashboard. Will take a photo and share later. iOttie is a great mount for 1 hand operation.

My SA told me RM350, cover by Mazda not by car insurance

Seems like different showroom got different terms for the insurance. I wanna ask those of you who buy insurance (not transfer from your old car), did your SA say compulsory must buy their (Berjaya Sompo) insurance? Or any insurance will do?

Yea, my SA told me it was compulsory to buy their insurance (Berjaya Sompo).

But in actual fact, it is not compulsory, you are free to purchase your own insurance. Just that you will get lesser loan from bank because the insurance fee will not be included in the car price.

Reason I ask is becuz:

1) taking company loan (so bank doesn't matter)

2) I buy insurance from my company got discount

But this SA insist need to buy their insurance.

I think maybe they got commission for the insurance (but SA told me they do not get commission, is just company policy). But funny thing is, in the end he allow me to do so. Haha.

Try looking at Home > Settings > Vehicle > Three-flash turn signal. It may be switched off. Switch it On.

My HB has the feature but you have to turn it on via the MZD.

If we use autolock when walk away from car, what will happen if we forgot to switch off the headlamp?

No such thing, screw their company policy. It has nothing to do with customers. But it may be applicable to the SA as they may be pressured to sell Berjaya's own insurance for Berjaya's own cars (which is a logical thing to do).

I remember reading another thread on the benefits of getting Berjaya's own insurance. Something to do that if during the first year your car (touchwood) kena stolen/theft, it will be 1-for-1 replacement, ie you get a brand new car. And if accident (touchwood), claims below RM 10,000 will not require adjuster, resulting in faster claims.
