Soul Red scheduled for delivery next week, booked early kiasu Oct. Sedan only available in Feb.

TTDI has one. I'm really impressed with the build quality. Very premium, photos doesn't do it justice, hard plastics on some parts but feels very solid when you knock on it. Leather all over but I'm surprised the leather seats are actually tough fabric in the center, about 2 sqft of it. Doors close with a solid thud, so unlike Jap cars esp B segment.
Space is a premium, but snug like a sports car. Red stitching looks very well done, it is miles better than my CBU Swift which I paid the same price 10 yrs ago.
Gripes: door panels seems a bit soft outside, tires looks too Eco friendly. And yes, no LEDs but sit inside and its forgiven.

So, how does it compare to your crz? Ride, handling, steering, comfort, noise, cabin quality etc

I have not driven it yet but I agree that the cabin quality is really impressive. Photos doesn't it do justice. Some plastics although hard, feels solid but those panels on the doors, dash, gear shift, handbrake, knee pads, steering are real leather!

Thanks for the comparison with crz. Was eyeing the crz, it's even smaller, looks like great fun to drive with 6 spd manual but the servicing costs published by Honda then was very high! Hated Honda after one of their 3S center gave me warranty problems for not sending my car in every six months irrespective of mileage.

And currently there's no such tire in Malaysia.

Next size up is 205/55, might scrape the fenders sad.gif

Thanks for the tip!

Only interested in the 195/55 but their reviews are not too encouraging. The Michelin is like 1k a pc! The Toyo seems most reasonably priced but wet grip seems bad. Pity.

Everyone wants a cut from a Mazda owner. Tinting n selling your old car, buyers beware! It's the industry actually. If you scratch your Soul Red, another round! Better know your stuff first!

Not much information though, just arrows. I'm hoping that MZD connect can mirror our smartphones so that I can use Waze instead. I Need traffic info, the Naviextras GPS in Mazda navigation is based in Here app by Nokia, no traffic info. Not buying it. Have to pay subscription after 3 years as well.

HB for me. I don't need the extra space. Sedan only coming in Feb, at least one week to do Puspakom inspection it looks quite bleak to get your car by cny. Heavy bookings at Puspakom so inspection is delayed:((

Looks like the Thais just connect a HDD to the USB port and pressed n hold the Call End button! Hope it's that easy.

I Use Waze like twice a week to check traffic condition. If this changes, then I'll buy the sat nav smile.gif

The maps are only updated every six months... Better download Here Beta on android and check the maps first haha. That big PJ roundabout might not be there yet!

If they have traffic info, I'll buy.

Got my red HB yesterday. The only complaint is probably the paintwork, orange peel compared to M6. Driven normally it's smooth! Good pickup without having to floor the pedal. Sports will Rev to 4000 before upshift so it's not a good idea for now. Not as cramped as I thought but then I'm short. A bit short on storage space but who cares, it drives well.
Steering has enough feel at 110 and its steady. Bloody pickup truck made me do an emergency stop and there's no drama, wish horn is louder! Keeping revs below 3.5k there's enough shove in city use, not as sluggish as reviews say, can't wait to get it to redline. Should get under ten seconds I think. Suspension firm but can feel the long wheelbase makes the ride cushy. Really like the compromise.
Engine and road noise are there but at 110 it's not bad. Sound system is beyond my expectations but still need to play with the MZD. The HUD is floating around, only showing speed as I don't have the sat nav. Gotta go

My windscreen insured at $2,400 I think. My windscreen already chipped by a flying stone and bonnet also got a small gash. Luckily my WS didn't crack!

Thanks for the photo bro. Hopefully sedan will arrive soon. I plan to have huper optik tint. Quoted RM 1200 after discount. As for DRL bulb, plan to get white LED from eBay. Still sourcing the right one.

Where can I get this deal? Pls share

which huberoptik tint u choose? I'm thinking 3m but heard that it is not smart tag friendly, dono how true is that
*
Problem is, 3M removes 99% IR, so it renders our smartTag useless. Now I looking at HO which lets more IR through. As long as it cuts lots of UV, I'm fine. Raytech is ok, but have to drive slowly. M2 side windows are already tinted, so putting a 50% VLT security tint will fail especially the front windows which need 70% VLT. But surprisingly our M6 with Raytech has not been stopped by cops for the past year. But when the new tint law comes into effect I'm worried there'll be hassles.

Happy to report that the range on a full tank is 630km based on city driving. I refuelled at range reading 9km and it was 38+ litre to full at first click. City driving ave is 8l/100 km having driven 184km, ave speed is 31kph. Minimal iStop used. I'm getting 50% increase over my old Suzuki Swift if the onboard computer is to be believed. SkyActive rocks!

Australia also gets the same headlights.

I've taken Mazda 6 2.0 Skyactiv to my mechanic before and he's got the same specs battery for $380. Our M2 battery is smaller so should be cheaper.
